ORIGINAL: David Levine What's the point of being able to review PI calls if the officials won't overturn obvious missed calls? And of course we got called for OPI on a review where they weren't even looking for it... The reviews have become utter nonsense. Perriera At least admits when they get calls wrong now. Well, he tempers his statements with "IMO", but says coaches like consistency, even when review outcomes are obviously bad. Really? I highly doubt that. What a farce! He also said Rogers "gave himself up when he dove forward" What? Glad that pick wasn't called DI, sure looked like DB was early! In Green Bay? That was shocking!! Karma Baby!! That is the rule now. Slide or dive, QB is giving himself up in that situation. Consider me enlightened, well, only on that rule. So does that mean on a qb sneak the qb can dive over and you technically can't hit him? These dumb rules are getting out of hand Exactly! The QB is not giving himself up if he is going for additional yardage. If he is considered to be giving himself up he only should get the distance where he started the dive and not where he ends it.
