I read that he runs nice routes, but is kind of athletically limited.

Weaver to Dolphins. I have no clue why he dropped that far. Ridiculous.

It happens every year. We can't figure out why some guy with great college stats drops.

I'm actually pretty pissed about it!

Time will tell, Dave.

I'm probably just over magnifying it because I'm on house arrest and bored. We'll see.

House arrest? For spending too much time in the Politics thread?

Could be. You guys are probably so sick of me there.

You must be a few weeks into non-smoking, how is that going?
Starting to smell things differently yet?

Bro, it's murder. I'ts getting better, though!

He's a good punt return guy and special teamer.

Cowboys, Raiders, and Bucs seem to be drafting all the players we should. Anae DE to the Cowpukes.

I feel like that's a George Burns riff, which would be appropriate, since I'm puffing on cigars to get me through. Just brutal.

My wife doesn't want to divorce me yet, though.

Like DAO said as encouragement, though. If you fall off that horse, just get back on. I told him I was pulling a Clinton and not inhaling the cigars!

Agree - Completely unimpressive pick.

Strengths
Shows up to work and does his job
Good recognition and communication as hot receiver
Alters and adjusts routes when reading zone
Finds and settles into underbelly of short zone
Works into safeties without showing fear of collisions
Fearless return man on both punts and kickoffs
Career average of over 12 yards per punt return, including 15.9 in 2019
Has coverage production in first two seasons at Buffalo
Weaknesses
Doesn't play with suddenness of feet to slip by press
Bump-and-run coverage will hound him
Lacks top speed and vertical push to threaten
One speed route runner
Doesn't use routes to set up defenders well enough
Below average separation burst
Start-stop routes get bogged down by delayed restart
Consistency of hands and catch radius is very average

KJ Osborn, played better in Buff as slot, moved Maimi and played out of position in bad O, upside as KR, but also 3-4 WR/ Slot guy

Crap... don't know why we wouldn't take a flyer on some of these decently rated guards.

I get that he isn't a great fit for our scheme... but this dude knocked guys on their asses.... we could find a use for that.

I really hope we have a deal worked out for Thuney. Which has about a .001% chance of happening.

It's the only way I could see upgrading our line. And I really, really like Collins/Udoh/Samia.

Can't see any oline at this point being more than a developmental guy.

I was making a play off of him saying he didn't inhale a joint!

I forgot all about the actual cigar thing. Uggh.

I'm a respiratory therapist who teaches now, and I spend a lot of time talking to my students about the need to understand how extremely difficult it is to quit smoking, especially after decades. COPDers can be a pain in the ass like anyone dealing with a chronic illness, but far too many nurses, RTs, and Drs. lack sympathy because "they did this to themselves...."

Bullshit. Doesn't matter.

Why does NFL always think we need someone to sing us a song. during the draft. If they simply called every pick said a blurb and moved on to next pick I would watch non stop.
