ORIGINAL: Dave Odle Weaver to Dolphins. I have no clue why he dropped that far. Ridiculous. It happens every year. We can't figure out why some guy with great college stats drops. I'm actually pretty pissed about it! Time will tell, Dave. I'm probably just over magnifying it because I'm on house arrest and bored. We'll see. House arrest? For spending too much time in the Politics thread? Could be. You guys are probably so sick of me there. You must be a few weeks into non-smoking, how is that going? Starting to smell things differently yet? Bro, it's murder. I'ts getting better, though! Quitting smoking is easy. I've done it at least 20 times. I feel like that's a George Burns riff, which would be appropriate, since I'm puffing on cigars to get me through. Just brutal. My wife doesn't want to divorce me yet, though. Ha! I FINALLY quit for good about two years ago. My dad and brother both have COPD, and we grew up under factory smokestacks, so I got scared enough to just make a daily commitment to putting them away. Keep it up, my friend. I'm a respiratory therapist who teaches now, and I spend a lot of time talking to my students about the need to understand how extremely difficult it is to quit smoking, especially after decades. COPDers can be a pain in the ass like anyone dealing with a chronic illness, but far too many nurses, RTs, and Drs. lack sympathy because "they did this to themselves...." Bullshit. Doesn't matter.
