Muti gone. Is it official that no more guards remain?

Crap... don't know why we wouldn't take a flyer on some of these decently rated guards.

I get that he isn't a great fit for our scheme... but this dude knocked guys on their asses.... we could find a use for that.

Muti "tends to stay engaged in pass protection" -- that sounds way too advanced for interior OL.

Why does NFL always think we need someone to sing us a song. during the draft. If they simply called every pick said a blurb and moved on to next pick I would watch non stop.

At least this one is good.....

In the 'if the season started tomorrow' scenario, I see holes at LG and nickel. Assume Samia to RG.

That's what I was thinking. Very good.

Assuming they make Elf compete, camp battles for two starting spots. Not bad, and competition is good.

I think Dantzler or Hughes or Gladney could all play Nickel.

If I were guessing our line is:

Reiff, Collins, Bradbury, Samia, ONeil.

That's pretty scary.

True, all of the warbling and vocal gymnastics of Jennifer Hudson singing Lean on Me made me want to shoot myself.

We should have moved up to get that long-snapper from LSU. Plug-and-play guy.

Bigger than the inside linebacker we drafted.

The country guy was pretty good, but I’d rather have a nice little Carcass tune relax us all.

Exactly. Maybe Bombo Rivera is available or Lyman Bostock.

With a name like Javelin, you better be fast as hell or it’s just false advertising.

Eagles trade for Goodwin in the 5th? With that speed? Yeah I woulda liked that move:

Jefferson, Thielen, Goodwin, Irv. Cook.

Agreed. If I'm Cousins I am not a happy camper right now. Hey, maybe Cleveland slides in to LG and is an upgrade over Elflein (the bar is pretty low), and maybe Bradbury plays better than he did last year (again, pretty low bar), and maybe Samia is an upgrade over Kline (who he couldn't beat out for the position last year). But its just as likely that we start the year with Reiff, Elf, Bradbury, Samia, O'Neill. As usual, we have huge question marks all across the oline going into next season. It's just unacceptable that RS has allowed this to happen yet again.

Oh, yeah! Goodwin is fast and a good dude. He played H.S. ball at a school I taught at (Rowlett) and was a track star, too!

People can pat Spielman on the back as much as you want.

But the Oline was the weakness of this team going in to the draft and he has done next to nothing to address it.

Yea, but we've now got a tweener defensive end and a sorta, kinda inside linebacker. And a 27th round pick in the 2024 draft.

. .

We’re going 3-4 on third down this year...dye is the guy....

Chris Tomasson
@christomasson
#Vikings WR KJ Osborn had 50 catches for 547 yards for Miami. Draft analyst Dane Brugler: "Doesn’t explode out of his breaks to separate upon command, but he is instinctive and dependable with the “make-it” attitude that will help him compete for a reserve/special teams role.''

Daniel House
@DanielHouseNFL
The #Vikings drafted Miami WR K.J. Osborn at No. 176. He transferred from Buffalo to Miami for his final season. Osborn ran a 4.48 40-yard dash and had a 37.5" vertical. He led the Hurricanes with 1,018 all-purpose yards. He has experience as a punt and kick returner, too.

Chris Tomasson
@christomasson
#Vikings GM Rick Spielman on K.J. Osborn: "(He's) a slot type receiver. I know when our coaches evaluated him they thought he could continue to improve as a receiver but his value is going to come as a potential punt returner for us.'' "We think he has a legitimate chance of winning the punt return and the kickoff returns jobs with his explosive speed and power.’’

Chris Tomasson
@christomasson
New #Vikings WR K.J. Osborn is an adept punt returner. Averaged 15.9 yards per return last year for Miami. Marcus Sherels is not expected back and Osborn could battle Mike Hughes to be the punt returner.

Rick talks about the 5th round picks- https://twitter.com/i/status/1254135330938277894

Hard to believe we took Osborn over Peoples-Jones.

Jets are like the slow guy in your fantasy draft. Looking at the magazine.
