Check out this video of a new Viking. Awesome!

That's ridiculously impressive. If the football career doesn't work out he can join Cirque du Soleil.

Nate Stanley, I actually like that pick. Had the highest Wonderlic score of any QB this year.

Nate Stanley. I think we just need another arm to throw the ball to all of the wide receivers.

I would give him a punchers chance of beating out Mannion or Browning.

Big arm.

Not very mobile.

I like the pick.

Personally, I feel like Mannion is perfect proof that we don't get it at QB. It's inexcusable. There are so many better journeyman QB's out there that could be had for a song, Jacoby Brissett being a prime example.

Two more picks. I'm really surprised we haven't selected a guard. It was a really bad draft for guards, though. We didn't get Williams, so I'm wondering what the plan is on the inside of the offensive line.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Malcolm Perry to the Phins. Curse the wasted draft pick on a QB.

The Bucs selected Navy's Malcolm Perry. They have had a ridiculous draft of wide receivers. (ie. toys for Brady)

Chris Tomasson
@christomasson
Nate Stanley completed 59.4 percent of his passes last season, throwing for 2,951 yards with 16 TDs and 7 picks. Nate Stanley will compete with Jake Browning for a third QB spot on the #Vikings, whether it might be on the roster or practice squad.

Chris Tomasson
@christomasson
Draft analyst Dane Brugler on Nate Stanley "Looks the part with above-average arm strength and the resilient attitude desired at the position, but his spotty ball placement and struggles to make plays outside of structure will make it tough for him to surpass NFL backup status."

Minnesota Vikings
@Vikings
New #Vikings QB @Njstan4 ranks second in @HawkeyeFootball history with 68 career TD passes.

PFF MIN Vikings
@PFF_Vikings
New Vikings additions: Kenny Willekes EDGE from Michigan State 83 on the PFF Big Board Best run defender in the draft class per the PFF Draft Guide 74.3 pass rush grade
Nate Stanley QB from Iowa 87.1 overall grade 81.5 passing grade 87.6 passer rating

Vikings Corner
@VikingsCorner
The #Vikings selected Iowa QB Nate Stanley at No. 244. He is a big-armed QB with experience in a zone running/bootleg heavy offense.

Could Perry be the next Edelman? He was a QB.

Good with play action, long ball lacks zip late.

A tweener. Is he a safety or a nickel linebacker? Sound familiar?

Pre-Draft Analysis
Cole has good size, adequate arm length and decent top-end speed. He has average man-to-man cover skills and will need to be protected versus quicker slot receivers. He attacks the ball aggressively and shows above-average ball skills. Cole is aggressive and closes quickly in run support. -- Steve Muench

1 Pick to go. This is ending with a whimper it seems.
