To me, he looks like the guy to get at 22 or 25. Gladney is another, or CJ Henderson (who will likely be gone). The other way to go would be to draft someone like Amik Robertson in the late second or early third and plug him straight into the slot.

But we have to get a starter-ready CB if at all possible, so that means you might have to "overdraft" someone, probably at 22 or 25.

I am comfortable that there will be good options at CB- enough so that we could even possibly trade back a few picks and still get a quality choice.

I have discovered that there is another version of the draft trade chart- an updated version than the classic Jimmy Johnson trade chart. It seems to have less rounding of the numbers, so perhaps it's more precise. I doubt that it's too different. Anyway, this link highlights the Vikings selections. Of course after Trader Rick gets through, there will be some changes on draft day, but this chart may show us how much he was able to get value in the trades.

It's interesting to note that according to the chart, either of our first round selections is worth more than the rest of the draft outside of the first round.

That would make the first three picks, CB, OL, WR in the third DL and Safety are on the menu. That's my hope!

OK, so if I had to take one of those guys you have on the list with our 25th pick, I'd take Mims. For me is was really tough between three guys that I liked, but I believe Mims will be a stud NFL WR one day. ( the other two guys were Jefferson and Reagor, fwiw)

Rosen got trade for what a second to MIA? I highly doubt Haskins would get a 1st for Washington. Especially NE when they supposedly like Stidham so much.
