ORIGINAL: kgdabom Assuming the big three WRs are gone at the Vikings pick which WR is most worthy of our pick 25? Jefferson Mims, Higgins Shenault Reagor? I don't think any of those will last to our pick in round two. So take one of them or pass and get the best we can in round 2 or 3. This is why I'm hopeful we can trade back from 25 and get an early 2nd and third. I know we need to get a CB and OL probably a little more than a WR. We might not have a good option for a tackle as the more I hear about Jackson is he isn't ready and the more I hear about Jones he will be gone before our pick. 25 is probably to early for Ezra Cleveland at tackle or Ruiz at guard. Really seems like a trade back at 25 is the option, barring a to good to be true value. The addition of Sharpe makes the urgent need for WR drop. I believe we can get a very good WR in the second round and our receiver room will be pretty solid. If we stand pat, do not trade back, I believe we go CB at 22, Fulton, Henderson, others who fit this spot. At 25 maybe Jones drops, but if not and no trade is available, get Ruiz, he plays center or guard and if you need to move Bradbury to guard, that option is open too. That would make the first three picks, CB, OL, WR in the third DL and Safety are on the menu. That's my hope! I don't give a rat's ass about Sharpe, however I agree with you that unless there is a large disparity in the value we need to go CB/OL in the first round. If somehow we could move 22 or 25 and one of our late 3rd to get 2 early seconds we might be able to address CB/OL/WR with premium players at each. That said which of the WRs I mentioned do you think will be the best? OK, so if I had to take one of those guys you have on the list with our 25th pick, I'd take Mims. For me is was really tough between three guys that I liked, but I believe Mims will be a stud NFL WR one day. ( the other two guys were Jefferson and Reagor, fwiw) Thanks.
