Did anyone see the New Jersey high school game where game winner got reversed? Shocked they don't have replay.

We have it in North Dakota. I was at a state tournament game this year where refs went over to the video monitor and got the call right.

Mannami is 24 years old. His mother is from Japan, and his father is from the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

He plays outfield for the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters.

Not the best hitter, but he's got some pop. Hope we see him in MLB at some point!

Prayers for our friend Boyd

From his wife:

Boyd has been in the hospital since Tuesday. He had been sick on and off for 1.5 weeks and Tuesday he came down from the bedroom and looked awful so I took him to the ER.
They have run so many tests on him to try to figure out what is wrong. The CT scan did show small black dots on his spleen. So hematology is involved with his care also. Still no answers though as to what his body is fighting. They have him on IV antibiotics. He had been spiking a 102 fever, sweats, chills, sometimes vomiting, headache, etc.....but then some days he would be just fine.
Tomorrow he will have a TEE test done around 6:30 am. After that, I am not sure if they will look at discharge or if that will come Saturday or who knows when.
So somethings specific to pray for. That the doctors are able to figure out exactly what has been causing his symptoms, they are able to treat it (or that the antibiotics that they have been administering has taken care of it) and that he regains his health and can come home sooner rather than later.
His sister Estelle had meetings down in Chicago so she was able to stop in yesterday.
His doctor says "you will walk into the room, see him and wonder why he is there and want to discharge him. He looks normal and healthy....but there is something underlying causing these symptoms...."
So please pray.
