Status: offline 		Congratulations to three Minnesotans for making the U.S. gymnastics teams. Led by St. Paul's own Suni Lee who trains less than a mile from my house. She took the second automatic slot, and actually beat the GOAT, Simone Biles, on night two of the trials. Grace McCallum of Isanti overcame a broken arm in January, requiring a rod and seven screws to repair, to be added to the team after coming in 4th all around in the trials.

Shane Wiskus of the Gophers qualified for the men's team after sustaining a ligament injury in the Big Ten tournament.

I was 19.

I am 53 today and it's still a great memory.
