Cousens could get injured, and here's some more Mullen's highlights if you can't get enough:

https://youtu.be/idyMbmrvhYM

(It says Raiders highlights, but it's with the 49ers)

I'm very surprised we waived Albert Wilson. I had him as our WR #4.

Of course.

But you're totally setting yourself up for disappointment.

He's a pretty competent back-up. He's not going to replace Cousins anytime soon.

I'm just happy with having an nfl caliber qb2!

It was an upside thing, I believe. Jackson, Nailor, and even Mitchell have showed at least as much in camp according to various media.

Even Bisi has more upside and can do the route tree. Wilson is a deep threat only (Go route).

Marty always has the backup QB bromance going on...

The Vikings probably have a better passing system than the 49ers, Mullens could flourish.

Not the next Keenum, he may be BETTER than Keenum. More like the next Nick Foles.

The next Keenum or Foles do NOT cause me to leap for joy.

Raiders are sending QB Nick Mullens to us for a 7th.

Problem solved.

Ummm....

I actually like Mullens....Mannion cut or moved to QB Coach? Mond QBOTF?

We already have a QB coach and an assistant QB coach.

Ok...assistant to the assistant...I don't care...lol

Mannion can be Cousins personal ego stroker coach.

If Ham is on his way out I think it'll be BC of Ty Chandler. He might be our 2nd best back right now. They're not going to keep 4 RB's and a FB. I'm not even sure 4 makes sense.

Value wise I actually think we get more out of Ham than Nwangwu if say everyone's healthy. Maybe NWang to PS?

Didn't Kene have 2 kickoff return TDs last year?

I see Mattison as the odd man out.

They would pick him up real fast.... We have 3 2nd string quality Rbs.

Think they cut FB2 jake bargass. Big ? is how often are we going to be using a FB. Idt trading Mattison is a wise move. Cook is fragile and if 2 RB's are nicked or out carrying 4 is pretty common.

Our offense is now one that does not utilize Fullbacks. CJ Ham will likely be released and they will keep all of Cook, Mattison, Nwangwu, and Chandler. Unless someone offers us something good for Mattison.

Not when the Vikings started Cunningham or Favre, or Tommy Kramer.

Honestly, I don't think the Vikings are done at the QB position, necessarily.

They needed to do something now and gave up next to nothing, unless you're Rick Speilman.

But I think they will be very closely watching the final round of camp cuts for other options at Back up QB and C.

disagree, i think we are done at QB2.

i agree that they are watching for any C option, maybe even a TE2

If KC wins the Vikings a SuperBowl, in the next 2 seasons, I will go to the twin cities and let him convert me to Christianity..

I think I’m pretty safe from that trip..

But you never know..

One thing I like about Cousins is he doesn't throw a lot of INTs.

Maybe WR Albert Wilson would have shined more with Mullen, instead of working with Mannion or Mond, and would still be on the team ?

So far, I have only presented the positives of Mullens.

Here is a video of every Mullen INT in 2020:
