The parade out here is tomorrow. I would have thought they'd send the Wilf's jet out to bring him in today, but I can also see why they'd wait. I'm not borrowing trouble by obsessing over questions re: McVay that sound like they won't be clarified any time soon.

Yes ... once he told Michigan, 'this was a one time non-recurring thing', it was obvious he was setting up his lemonade stand for any and all NFL customers.

24 hours of purple intrigue and rumor-mongering.

And then the dynasty begins.

Has Zimmer been shown any interest from other teams? There was a time when his decisions were unquestionable. You'd think teams would be clamoring for him. Sarcasm and evil laugh.

I wouldn't give ANY qb $30-50+ mil unless that QB had won me a Super Bowl. Did you win a Super Bowl on your rookie deal? Yes? Great! Here's your hugenormous contract. F it let's just run victory laps and love life. No? Good luck. Next!

I read a little blurb today where adam zimmer said that his dad is waiting for the right opportunity to return to coaching. I don't know if that's going to show up for him any time soon.

So can one assume Adam is waiting for that right opportunity too?

So much for KAM's 'transparency'.

This is ridiculous … unless there are still negotiations going on of some kind … the team should have announced an official HC news conf by now, whether thats THUR or whatever. Its one thing to have to wait out the formality of it … another to leave everybody dangling.

KAM gets an -F on his first GM pop quiz, Public Relations 101.

What if the contract isn't totally final? Not everything happens on our timeline, just because we can't stand waiting. Ian Rappaport--a credible, well-sourced journalist, not some guy on his couch--tweeted that the contract is being finalized.

Ian Rapoport@RapSheet
The #Vikings and #Rams OC Kevin O’Connell are finalizing their deal for him to be their new coach, source said. Announcement coming. Press conference planned for Thursday.

Can't announce a deal that isn't signed.
