And GB picks a very good WR 😒

Christian Watson is the player I would have drafted for us. Not bad value, but I still don't like it.

His little quote on 7ths was a smokescreen.

But right there in the quote were the words he values quantity.

I wonder what Kwesi Spielman does next?

Time to get on the phone with Chicago so we can move back another 20 spots, swap places in the 5th and get another 7th rounder!

Disclaimer: I am NOT advocating this. Just speculating.

I said it yesterday and it’s seeming even more likely to me now. I think the Vikings may be targeting Willis at 34.

It would be stupid.

So much for that theory. Unless they think he’s going to slide waaay down.

I didn't mind the trade back but this was too far and I hate GB getting Watson.

3 of my top 5 choices for the Vikings were taken in the first 5 picks on the second round.
Watson, McCreary and Pitre.

Amazing how no NFL team has interest in Malik Willis.

It's really nice of Kwesi to help build up the WR corps of our divisional neighbors.

Really need a good CB now.

The pack would just have traded up with one of the next teams and still got the same guy. Might as well get the added value in the trade.

A WR who dropped 16 out of 120 catchable balls thrown to him at NDSU. No thanks.

Same on trading back so far. And although he has some flaws, Rodgers makes them better.

There's one flaw to your reasoning. I would have picked Watson for the Vikings. Green Bay couldn't have done that.
I have no problem with trading within the division.

Doesn't bother me in the least. He's a bit raw, but productive and has all the tools. Also sounds like his problem was concentration drops and not a hands issue at all.

And he appears to be working hard on it: However, Watson is showing improvement, bettering his drop rate from an abysmal 28 percent in 2020 to a still less-than-ideal 10 percent in 2021.

Crud. I had high hopes for this draft. I feel let down at this point, though.

You think the Vikes wanted Watson, and instead traded the pick to a WR-needy team?
