Probably not going to happen with our cap situation but it would nice to get the Center Jensen from TB. Mean SOB who could change the attitude and competency of our OLine.

Totally agree he could change the mentality. Maybe we wouldn't get our asses whipped over by the more physical Chicago Bears as often. We need some of that attitude to rub off

I agree with you we definitely need a real center on our o line! For me it is the number 1 need on the o line I think Davis can handle right guard with good coaching

A couple cheaper options

CB Witherspoon(Steelers): He was drafted by SF when KAM was there. Maybe in the 4-7M range

RG Glowinski(Colts): Solid player 6-9M range

Like Lyle mentioned above. I would forego RG and assume Davis makes it and concentrate on the C position.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the Vikings sign two of the Rams FA offensive linemen:

Austin Corbett (G) - 9mil per year
Brian Allen (C) - 7mil per year

Unlike any other vet o-line free agents, O'Connell would know if these two would be a fit for his offense.

Darrisaw(T) / Cleveland(LG) / Allen(C) / Corbett(RG) / O'Neill(RT)....has a nice ring to it.

10 days, no cap movement that I know of..

Meanwhile there are a lot of teams very well flush with cap room that can’t wait for FA to start…

I’m still skeptical..

Unless Cousin's is traded we have no cap space and will not be able to field a competent team this upcoming season.

I don't know how exactly void years work with Cousins' Guaranteed $ but if it's possible I see a void year added that devides his $ in 2 over this year and next. Probably SB or bust for him to be on the team next year.

With that savings and a few restructures we should have enough for a few FA's. That SF guard, Peterson and Richardson back. Hopefully another corner.

The problem with that is that God advised Cousins not to do voidable years in his contract.

I prefer we just dump Cousins and at least do a soft rebuild.

Need to wash all the stench off of the Spiel/Zim era and Cousins is a huge skid mark left on the boxer shorts.

I agree I am officially done with Cousins he is all about money and could care less which team he plays on trade his ass and get the best qb in the draft and rebuild

We better hurry up and reach out to a quality guard or center! A couple are off the market already.

The #Vikings have told him they won't be re-signing him. Classy move to call and tell him.
