So we went from
a 1st, 2nd, a 3rd and NO 4th
to
a 1st, 2 2nds, a 3rd and a 4th

If picks pan out... I'd have to say despite my misgivings it might just work out

Really depends on how good Willams and Watson do for me...

As long as you like trading, on the whole, quality for quantity.

And wow, people are ignoring where in the round the picks are. Spielman conditioned you!

IMO a very nice pick. I trust the Vikings judgment regarding his health.

so we gave them 53 and a third and a 6th, but got 42 and a 4th rd pick...

not sure of numbers

Basically turned 34, 77, and 192 into Booth, 59, and 122. That is a massive W.

We are picking HIGHER in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th round than originally slated...
AND added a 2nd rounder

Yes, the 1st was a big price...

But it could work out.

I'm hoping for Nakobe Dean with our next pick. Load up on that Georgia defense.

You can't cherry pick part of trades and claim massive wins.

Well, I guess you can.

Kwesi making Spielman look like a stand pat kind of guy.

I’m mobile now and can’t even begin to wrap my head around if we’re winning or losing the draft war.

I would have taken Jameson Williams...
After that I would have taken Watkins...
doesn't mean there can't be another path to success.

If you like Booth at 34, then it's basically 77 for 59 and 192 for 122. If you don't like that, there is no hope for you.

You could even say Hamilton, 46, 77, and 192 for Cine, Booth, 59, and 122. Comes down to the delta between Hamilton and Cine. If it's huge in favor of Hamilton, volume and move ups might not even out. But if it's close or Cine is better, the Vikings have made out huge so far.

You increase paths to success by first getting equal or better value for the trade. Specific players are a separate issue.

It's clear the Vikings weren't interested in using those picks for a WR. However, trading those picks for those WRs could haunt us.

No, introducing false narratives like Hamilton has nothing to do with the picks involved in a trade.

But if you must, last time I checked Cine was passed over by every team in the 1st except us. Hamilton wasn't.

Yep, and 198 guys were picked before the guy that will go down in history as the GOAT, Brady, so, there's that.......
