Jordan Balazovic wil get another late start to another season. Got his jaw broken in an altercation on February 11. It will be another 10 days before he can do anything.

The Rangers have signed outfielder Robbie Grossman, via Jon Heyman of the New York Post. The Texas Rangers have put together a strong offseason and now have the makings of a serious AL West contender. On the onset of Spring Training, the Rangers have made one more offensive addition to their already impressive haul.

A guy who hit .209 with a. 622 OPS is being classified as an offensive addition? I guess if I was a Texas fan, I would be offended.

Just Feb 22 and Josh Winder already shut down with shoulder soreness. Pain is gone, but is shut down fora week.

LF -- Gallo (Taylor vs. LHP)
CF -- Buxton
RF -- Kepler
DH -- N.Gordon (Farmer vs. LHP)

Kepler still needs to be spelled and Buxton replaced when rested/hurt. There are options.

No. He was injured early in the year on a slide into 2B. It was no secret.

He already had the knee tendinitis coming out of spring training. The slide aggravated it. They played the slide off as a day to day thing. Shortly they started the party line about resting Buck regularly to prevent injuries and get him on the field for 100+. Souhan even ran with it and lauded the Twins for such a smart savvy approach. What they were really doing was managing an existing injury.

Gordon 1-2/Triple, Contreras and former High Pick Rosario hit 2 R Homers

Wallner 0-3, Sabato 0-1/3 walks

Varland 2 shut out innings

Dobnak gave up a run in 2, and the no-names gave up the rest in the next 3 innings.

Twins lose to Phillies 10-8

Ryan struggled 2H/2R 1ER/BB/2k in 1.1IP
Brett Headrick, lefty 2 shutout innings eK. Could be a callup at some point this year

Megill blew chunks 3H/3BB/K, 2 homers and 6 runs in a third of an inning. Grand slam one of them. Current Spring ERA is 162

Cody Lawyerson, also a name to remember fanned 3 in his inning

Solo hit a grand slam for the Twins, Celestino had a 2 run single and Miranda had a double and 2 walks

Julien stunk it up with 3Ks
