Ober is completely gassed and his last several starts show it. He's way beyond his previous highest innings pitched. They need to shut him down without him taking up a roster spot.

Bring him back up in September. But use him only occasionally out of the bullpen to let him get refreshed but still in shape. He could be a useful reliever by playoff time.

Winder has looked good in that role the last couple outings. Use Ober as a 2 inning opener if needed after his break.

Dang. Lewis came up with the bases loaded. Had a good at bat, put a couple of good swings on fouls balls but flew out.

If he hits a homer there, it’s instant legend status.

I doubt the Twins will win any claims they put in. There are teams just a few games out of a playoff spot and teams in wild card position the will get priority over the Twins.

Except our record is worse than many......also some have made claims already that put them at the back of the list (Cleveland is one of them).

Time and time again. when this team has a great opportunity to put another team away for good...they play like shit and give that other team hope.

Buxton was 1 for 2 with 2 BB in his first rehab game I CF with no injuries. Kirilloff was 1- 5 with a couple of K's.

Chris Paddack says he will start a rehab assignment on the 6th and be ready by the 22nd.

That's like 3 trades right before the playoffs.

My son's childhood buddy pitched for the Guardians yesterday (Tanner Bibee). He's had a good year for a rookie. His next contract should be massive, which means he can pay for my son's cello he broke when they were about eight.
