As I said, if you really think it will be a blowout, and that it's easy money, head down to Iowa and put some money on it.

Good luck!

I am not taking any bets, it seems to close to call for me. I am only saying talk of a blowout is probably nonsense.

If I were still in Vegas, I would probably be once again looking at prop bets. Although I doubt the Vikings turn the ball over on their first possession, it would be worth taking a $50 shot on it, assuming the odds are once again close to 15/1.

I would also bet on a couple of WRs to score a TD. I would pick one on each team. Either Hock or KJ for the Vikes, would probably go with Hock. It would be tempting to pick Addison, as Addison has hit every time, but I think the Pack will put Alexander on him, and they will probably get away with a non call of PI on him more than once.

For the Pack I would go with Dobbs scoring a TD.

Bets you would make. Fascinating. Tell me more.

Ok.

I wanted to bet on the Vikings turning the ball over on their first possession against SF, while in Vegas (payout was 15-1) I liked this and 2 WRs to score (Addison and Kittle).

I was staying at Harrah's where I saw those prop bets. I decided to go to a larger sports book to watch the game (South Point), and decided on the way I would just bet on the Vikings turning the ball over on their first possession, and put $100 on it to win $1500.

I got to the counter at South Point casinos sportsbook, and learned they didn't do those prop bets. With construction on the Strip due to F1 coming next month, I didn't think there was enough time to get back to Harrah's to make the bet.

Could have had another $1500.

LOL.

Maybe you'll find out more about somebody named Dobbs. Hell, I'll bet him a few grand that Dobbs doesn't score a TD.

As long as you give me 6-1 odds.

Addison was +$260 on a $100 bet to score a TD.

Or $10 will get you $26. I think I'd be more comfortable with that ...

Those Love numbers surprised me, I hope the Vikings can seize the moment and beat the Packers at Lambeau.

It would be nice to see Kirk get an early lead, if up by a TD, I want to see Kirk throw darts and lead the way to a 2 TD lead, or more.

Need to keep the Monday's momentum rolling today and stick it to the Packers. A loss would be absolutely embarrassing. Skol!

Haven’t watched the Packers this year … but losing to DEN and LV the last games definitely places them where I thought we were after the first three games … bottom feeder.

Like us I’m sure they feel they are much better than their record but, even with a ton of seasom left, they are probably only a couple of losses from having that perception snuffed right out of them.

Beating us keeps their noses under the tent, sniffing around for the middle of the pack … and squashes our trajectory out of the middle of the pack, back to pre-49ers.

Its just another game … the rivalry intensity isn’t there for me … as much as I hate losing to the packers … I just want to see us beat an inferior team soundly. I’m sick and tired of the inconsistency - within games and game to game.

I loved the Vikings win, Bill owes me a couple of grand, I corrected it to Doibbs well before game time, you knew I meant Doubs.

I was also correct in predicting Hock would get a TD this game.

You can't just throw out an arbitrary bet with your own odds, have no one take you up on it, and then try to collect.

I thought I explained it earlier, I will explain it to Bill once again, he might be a little slow.

I was staying at Harrah's in Vegas, and was looking at prop bets before the 49er/Vikings game. I liked the bet of the Vikings to turn the ball over on their first possession ($100 paid $1500), and I liked Addison and Kittle to score.

Harrah's has a small sportsbook and all the spots were reserved, so I went to watch the game at South Point casino, which is about 20 minutes south of there.

On the way to South Point, I decided to nix the idea of betting on the WRs to score, and decided I would just bet $100 on the Vikings to turn the ball over on their first drive.

I got to the counter at South Point, and discovered they don't do prop bets, just bets on the teams and the over/unders. With the Strip being torn up for F1, I didn't think I had enough time to make it back to Harrah's to place any prop bets before the game started.

I think both Harrah’s and Bill should pay up. In the spirit of betting Marty hit on all the non essential marks.

If someone wants to bet me a player won't score, I want odds on it, it's not a straight up bet, even if you're betting a player that scores often.

I predicted Hock and Daubs would score TDs in this game, and was correct on both of them.

Bill wanted to be a wise guy because I misspelled Doubs, but he knew the player I meant, and I was right about Dobbs scoring. Bill owes me thousands of dollars, times what the odds were on Doubs getting a TD, probably about 3-1, I tried to get 6-1 out of Bill because he isn't very smart, is only a smart ass.

So, Bill owes me about $8000 to $12000 dollars in virtual money.

So now explain why your poor decision means Bill owes you for a bet you didn't make?

Bill doesn't owe me for last week, I should have trusted my instinct and made a bet at Harrah's.

Bill owes me thousands of dollars in virtual money for being a smart ass, and because I was right about Daubs scoring.

We probably did see Cousins last snap as a Viking. No way we extend him or resign him when he likely won't be ready to start next season.
