According to Ben Geossling, we are 24M under. Thanks to Smith re-structure and more void years(paging Bill J).

Not sure what we are up to. Not much out there that would make sense for us. Risner?? Connor Williams?? Xavien Howard??

Maybe JJ and Darrisaw extensions.

Extensions shouldn't hurt the 2024 cap unless they want to pay or structure it to take effect in 2024?

Yeah. JJ would help the cap. Darrisaw would probably eat up more cap. A push if we did both.

Here’s the final summary on the NFL Hybrid Kickoff that owners approved today on a one-year trial basis.

For people with better attention spans than me KOC's 35 minutes of Media Q&A at the league meetings.

I guess they're trying to bring the kickoff back as a viable play. But making it as complicated as possible.

Seems kind of dumb but will have to see it played out.

Happened to the gladiators battling in the coliseum. Rules on how you could mace someone’s face or stab em in the balls. That’s what led to the fall of the Roman Empire.

I did a book report on that in 4th grade.

You go to visit your grandfather who hasn’t watched a game in a bit and have to explain set up zones and landing zones.

I’m ok with change but I’m more of purist on special teams. Onside kicks are exciting so quit making them harder. Big returns can change a game but don’t have to complicate it.

Chaos indeed, and the refs can't call a good game as it is......
Sounds more like a convoluted way for gambling to completely take over the game. Oh well......

Any particular reason you're saying this?

Star WR Justin Jefferson is “anticipated” to receive a 5-year extension worth over 150 million dollars, including $75M+ guaranteed.

Been known for a while. Going back to it makes me think they’re preparing to do it.

There was a QB named Nix
Whose QB ranking was six
Loved by kgdabom
So you know his career won’t be too long
He’ll throw less TD’s than picks

Nix Six can hit the bricks
Throwing picks and short of the sticks
He has no tricks
Not worth the risk

I'm OK with 150 million $75 million guaranteed. Over is the problem. How much over?

I like Nix. Don't love him. He's #4 on my QB list. I appreciate your attempt at poetry. Tricks rhyming with risk? Pretty inaccurate for a guy who threw 45 TDs to 3 interceptions.

I think it’ll be closer to 33/year.

I would not be surprised. 32 Million a year is the final number before I start exploring how much we can get by trading him.
