If Curry is healthy, we have a very tough series coming up.
Butler and Green are as competitive as they get and Looney is the wildcard. I expect a very close series.

The Wolves should win in 5 or 6.

Worst shooting display I've ever seen for a half. Absolute joke.

How do you come out flat at home against a tired team that just finished a 7 game series?

What a disgusting effort. Team geezer lost it's best player in the first half and the Wolves still couldn't make a run. If that embarrassment doesn't fuel better performance then this team just has no pride.

They’ve got to figure out this shooting funk. That’s got to be some sort of record for badness over a 2 game playoff stretch. Part of it is they’re not generating enough good looks, but part of seems to be just lost confidence and thinking too much.

And is it just me or is part of it that they’re in a rut? Predictable. People talk about their depth, and that’s valid, but it’s an 8 man depth. The bench has been shortened to the same guys for a while now. It feels like a bit of same old, same old. Get Shannon and Clark in there once in a while to shake things up. I’m not talking about benching anyone, but give them 5-6 minute bursts and tell them to just go as hard as they can and create havoc. Suddenly new passing lanes might open up. Some transition baskets. Anything.

Remember when the entire NBA community doubted him?

Makes too much sense for Finchy to ever do this.

Well they did what they were supposed to do. Beat up on an opponent missing their star. No tears for Golden State. Next up, got to steal at least one in California to make up for the one they stole here.

I thought it was a weird game to watch. I am real happy with a 25 point win in the playoffs and to see our human victory cigar on the court at the end, but something about it seemed off.

On the good side, it was great to see NAW finally shake a two year playoff shooting slump. Also good to see Donte find his stroke a bit. Julius continues to win me over. He is such a departure from the player he was at the beginning of the season, that it almost seems like was traded. Jaden and Naz keep doing their thing.

The not so good is Ant's seeming inability to finish a layup anymore. It's to the point that I wonder if there is some cumulative affect from his calf and ankle injuries. I'm just used to him finishing strong through contract. The Wolves continue to have defensive lapses, especially after made baskets. Several times GS had someone behind the defense for a long pass and easy basket after a TWolves make. I could almost see smoke pouring out of Finch's ears after one of them.

I'm not complaining. I'll take it. It just lacked something for a playoff effort to me. I really can't put my finger on it.

I'm wondering if Ant is not completely healthy as well. Sure he came back in the game, but he seems to be playing at about 80-85%. Which still makes him a solid player, but not an explosive one. It's like a glimpse into the future of what he'll be like at 37.

Hopefully Ant's ankle injury doesn't linger we're going to still need a lot of him to close out this series.

Denv might just end up beating OKC in what looks like will go 7.

Ant came alive just in time tonight. Randle with a triple double. The Wolves have mastered the art of winning ugly in these playoffs.

Jimmy got going last night, as I figured he would have the game before. It just took them a game to adjust to Steph’s absence I guess. They are well coached and I imagine Kerr can’t be too unhappy with how the game went but they just couldn’t quite pull it off. I expect the next game to be more of the same. A battle if the Wolves don’t play their A game, a comfortable win if they do.

Randle has been an intense playoff performer. Take this game and bottle it. If you could have seen this game in a time machine last fall you would have said, hell yeah, let’s go. His baskets seem to come at clutch times too, when the team looks a little off and they need someone to step up.

Until Jaden absolutely locked him down. Butler did not score a single point the last 8 minutes of the game.

Yes, Jimmy kept them in the game…and then McDaniels was a key part of closing the game out with a win.

Whenever the Wolves have a ‘how did they do that?’ win, look to McDaniels as a big part of the reason why.

Randle, who finished with 24 points, 12 assists and 10 rebounds, became just the second player in Minnesota playoff history to record a triple-double, joining Kevin Garnett. By following up his 24-point, 11-assist performance in Game 2 with a similar output on Saturday, Randle also became the first player in franchise history with multiple 20-point, 10-assist games in a single postseason,

Yes, Butler's offense disappeared down the stretch. Jaden did a great job and Rudy changed a couple of his layup attempts too.

Giannis open to being traded.

Watch how he magically ends up on the Lakers for a ham sandwich.

The wolves now have 19 playoff wins with Edwards.

They had 18 playoff wins without him.

Other than the last few minutes when the GS scrubs were embarrassing our disinterested regulars, that was a good game last night. Some observations:

1. I was dead wrong about Julius Randle. He said watched a lot of video during his injury time and was determined to be a facilitator when he returned. He's done that. His decision making has been great. His speed in making decisions has improved. His defense has improved. Last year, KAT had some strong moments in between prolonged periods on the bench with foul trouble. Randle is staying on the floor providing steady, drama free minutes.

2. The Curry-less Warriors are more formidable than I thought. The remaining old farts provide stability and accountability and the role players are executing at a high level. Kuminga has stepped into a much bigger role and met the moment.

3. Jaden's defense on Butler gets better every game. Jimmy was hard to find for long stretches last night. McDaniels clearly won that matchup.

4. The broadcast team needs to get over Curry being out of the lineup. Every game we get at least 100 shots of Curry's reaction to everything that happens.

Butler made a three...let's see what Steph thinks of that
GS turns the ball over...pan to Steph
Kuminga is shooting free throws...Steph is watching closely
Time out on the floor....cue Steph
Draymond Green is scratching his Johnson...I'm sure Steph has some thoughts on that
