So far Murphy 3/66, Jones 2/20, Isiah Rodgers 2/18, Kelly 2/18:

Probably Cutting or trading Ingram and Bradbury.

Around 20 million left? Odds are we sign Johnathon Allen and that leaves a Scherff or Zietler at 4-5 million then?

Jonathan Allen does NOT count towards the compensatory pick formula since he was released by the Commanders

Rodgers is a solid outside CB that grades out well.

But he's only 5'9 and ran a 4.5.

------

VIKINGS FREE AGENT SPOTLIGHT: Isaiah Rodgers

Isaiah Rodgers is a sneaky value guy on the market this year. He is a very versatile player with run game impact, coverage ability, and special teams ability. PFF ranked him as the 20th best CB in football in 2024. Rodgers only missed three tackles on the year and forced a fumble, on top of 3PBUs. Rodgers is only 27 and his best football is ahead of him.

4.28 at his pro day.

I honestly don't think he counts either way.

We kept him, So he's not outgoing and not incoming. He's just considered here. We kept him. Same thing with Aaron Jones.

Allen being a cut helps but now with Fries and Kelly we probably are at zero. Jones, Jones, Darnold, Bynum....maybe we still get something?

C Robinson may be the chance for decent comp pick.
But Vikes could add somebody yet as well.

Minshew has been batted around by some podcasters.
I'd be pretty happy with that... I think he could win you a couple games if needed.

I noticed that Joe Flacco was still available. He could be a good mentor backup for McCarthy.

Here's another possibility.

Marcus Mariota has not started a game since his 2022 stint with the Atlanta Falcons, but over the past couple seasons, he has been in QB rooms with young players such as Jalen Hurts and Jayden Daniels.

Last season, Mariota appeared in three games and threw for 364 yards, four touchdowns, and zero interceptions while completing a very impressive 77.3% of his passes.

I would kick the tires on him if he is not to old

How about tripling up on NDSU Bison? Sign Trey Lance and Wentz. Sign Cam Miller as an UDFA.
