I wouldn’t touch Sanders in any round now. The drama is going to be insane.

I bet they would have stayed for Watts.

Their two last picks are in an area of the draft where they can get a very good RB prospect. Not sure about their other priorities. NT, S.

Yeah, really didn't see that coming.

And he was protected by a number of WR. So not much risk trading down.

Felton with crazy good measurables. Nice production this year as well.

I like the pick. And it was a low key need.

JJ is the man and Addison is going to get expensive - or potentially moved if he doesn’t stop the off field stuff. Nailor is a FA after the season.

Felton has a ton of upside. He can be our Z receiver this year and he’s cheap for 4 years.

quote:

Felton's 10-yard split (1.51 seconds), 40 time (4.37) and jumps at the combine were all outstanding. He's a vertical threat with the second gear to run past defenders and take the top off the coverage. He tracks and adjusts to the deep ball well. Felton pulls away when in the seam after the catch, makes defenders miss and breaks tackles in space. He flashes as a route runner and has the traits to develop.

WR was an area of need, I see Nailor as being about a Matthew Hatchette, and Addison could be trouble down the road, a loose cannon.

Felton doesn't look anything special on film, doesn't have great size, my guess is he will be a bust.

I think Jackson will probably be a bust as well, but might be adequate because he is lucky enough to play next to Darrisaw. IF Darrisaw becomes injury prone, Jackson might step in and do all right as a backup at LT.

My guess is they continue to have mostly busts in the draft, but had some home runs in free agency, so the Vikings will be very good if McCarthy is at least average.

Scouting Report: Tai Felton projects as an immediate contributor from the slot with eventual potential to develop into a starting Z-receiver in systems that prize route technicians over pure athletes. He not only can take the top off defenses with 4.3 speed, but can also be the one moving chains on third down with crafty stems and sharp breaks that corners just can't mirror.

It’s Marty. Just wave and smile as you pass by.

Sorry, I could have posted that I thought past draft picks were likely busts, but decided at that time to go with the wave of optimism.

I now think there is a pattern with Kwesi, and that's mostly busts with draft picks, but some very good picks with FA, and trades.

I am basing things off my gut. The guard is supposed to be smart, but it could mean he is soft. I have a feeling he is another Dru Samia.

The WR looks like nothing special on film, but he does have great speed, was dealing with a poor OL which led to lots of screens, and his QB was probably poor, so maybe things were hidden, and his combine numbers will show through on the field for the Vikings.
