Selective list. Kobe won 3 championships by Age 24.

I recall a guy named Shaquille O'Neal on those teams.

Shaq was on the down side of his career. Kobe was the star and best player, and he got it done.

Yeah, I thought any of the final four teams had a shot at the championship.

OKC clearly the favorite of the 4, but I agree this year's final 4 seemed more wide open than most.

Kawhi Leonard won a championship when he was 22.

Shaq was 27, 28 and 29 when they won those titles.

He was in his prime and, by far the best player on those teams.

Kobe was the best player on the Gasol/Odom/Bynum Championship team.

Funny how Shaq was the finals MVP for each one of those championships.

You mean the team that also had Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobli and Tony Parker.

The list said "unless they had a hall of fame legend with them". Leonard had three hall of fame legends with him.

I'm sure teams will be beating down his door.

Shaq drafted by Orlando yet ends up in LA.

Sound familiar?

The NBA is rigged. Always has been.

He left for LA as a free agent. How does that show the league is rigged? Some places just were, and are more attractive destinations for free agents.

For real!

Another one: Lebron drafted by Cleveland yet ends up in LA.

And don't get me started on how the NBA forced Wilt, Kareem, and Kobe to LA!

As if that's not enough, the Minneapolis Lakers draft Elgin Baylor and Jerry West... then suddenly THEY end up in LA.

It all sounds far too familiar.

I've read that the Knicks are interested in hiring Finch. I can't imagine the Wolves would be interested in trading him at this point.

The draft is less than 3 weeks away. The Wolves have picks #17 and #31. Anyone have any thoughts on who they should take. I don't want them to trade the pick as this is supposed to be a pretty good draft.

I don’t see them drafting two rookies though. Maybe package them to move up a few spots.

He's one of a bunch of coaches under contract that they supposedly have interest in.

Not going to happen. The Knicks have zero tradable 1st round picks. The best they can do is swap their first-round picks in 2026 and 2030.

I'd be shocked if they keep both picks and mildly surprised if they keep even one. I don't see a Pekovic-type guy there for a stash-away Euro at #31. Anyone at #17 would need to be able to reliable do something better than anyone on the current roster, and I think that's really unlikely.

I'll be surprised if they don't keep at least 17. This draft is widely considered stronger and deeper than last year's. The Wolves got Shannon at 27 last year. I don't think it's a stretch to think they could do better at 17 this year. With Randle and Naz likely to opt in, they won't be able to resign NAW. The only avenue they have for adding meaningful talent is through the draft right now.

Like Karl, I could see them packaging #17 & 31 to move up. I could also see packaging them with a rotation player in another Connelly big swing.

A lot depends on what their plans are for Dillingham. He’s super talented, but young, raw and undersized. It looks like Conley wants to return unless I’ve missed something. But he started showing his age this year and that will only continue next year. He’s a valuable presence to have around but how many minutes will you get out of him?

That leaves Dante who has had his ups and downs. Streaky good at times. A liability in other times. They need to add something at PG, either through an increased role for Dillingham or looking elsewhere. The Dillingham decision will have a domino effect on other off season moves.

The move I have read and would really like is for Garlund. Cleveland has to make a move to stay below 2nd apron.

I'm hoping for Ivisic from Illinois. He could neutralize Holmgren, and Gobert is getting old.

By "neutralize Holmgren" do you mean make Chet an extra half step before blowing past him?

You clearly did not watch much Fighting Illini basketball. He's a really good defender. Not a great rebounder for his size, but that will come.
