Thanks for the passive aggressive name call Dan, I would call you names back, but it seems impossible to do knowing some of the hardships you have endured.

You mistakenly labeled his post as passive aggressive but your reply is textbook passive aggressive.

How about we talk football?

Skor North suggested keeping all 3 WR....what do you think a Nailor extension would cost? $8 million per?

Depends on Felton's development.

I really like Addison, in a sophisticated passing offense he would put up 90 rec, 1,200 yds and 8-10 tds. He could be 1B on any team. But we've tied too much into Jettas. He could demand 15M+ on the open market.

As for Nailor, something like 8M seems reasonable. There could be some decent WRs on day 2 of the draft like Antonio Williams or Makai Lemon.

Nailor could get upwards of 12M on the open market.

Skor North thinks the highest pick we could get for Addison is a 2nd or 3rd. If we can't use 3 WR sets as much......do we need all 3?

Mentioned recently it would be good to know their cap limit or philosophy for spending on one position. Addison at say $17 brings the average to ~ $65M w/o factoring in a third WR. They can easily set things up to limit the time where the high years of the two contracts overlap, but it's still cap.

Depends on Felton's development.

So far, 2 receptions for 19 yards.

This is what I would do if I were KAM.

Obviously, we don't get the closeup views on their attitudes but from a far, it seems like Nailor is much more buttoned up. If you could lock him in for 8-10 mill for 4/5 years I'd do that and get what you can for Addison. This draft class is supposed to be pretty deep. Grab a guy in the 2nd/3rd and roll with it. That 8-10 Mill is a bit low IMO though.

Love Nailor.
Think JJ/Addison/Nailor would be near tops of the league in WR triplets.

BUT

Are you really going to spend limited money on 3rd WR when the offense is least effective right now running 3 wr sets?
And you have a 3rd round pick sitting on the bench?

Not sure that would be best use of assets.

The Allen and Hargreaves contracts are making it difficult to maneuver other key positions. I would even argue Greenard and Van Ginkel while very good players are signed 1 year too long. Kwesi was truly the autopen the past 2 seasons.

Detroit extended Jamison Williams at 25ml per. Addison has way better numbers so that is what it will cost for him.

Nailor at 12ml per makes more sense considering we're cash strapped.

Saw your post and wondered how they did that with all their high salaries. OverTheCap shows they stashed $40 million in a 2030 void year, maybe until the dust settles.

Goff's cap is averaging $62 million per over the next three years, starting with $70 million next year. Fun stuff!

Williams has better stats than Addison the past two years, but Let's Get Paid just saw his next contract increa$e

Sign Nailor
Trade Addison
Trade or cut Hockenson
Cut Hargrave

Restructure Allen, Greenard and Van Ginkel. Maybe O'Neill

This should give us plenty of cap space to operate in FA

Draft Notre Dame RB or Ohio State safety. Maybe it takes a trade with Addison included to get up to get Safety.

Going all in and they have very good chance of missing playoffs this year.

Their void year money is off the charts... Hutchinson $45M, St. Brown $17M, others, and now Williams $40M. Their GM makes Kwesi look like a spendthrift.

Maybe he hasn't shown anything in practice but it has been a perfect storm for him to not get much of a chance. We have QB issues and then made the Thielen trade which was a joke.

BTW, another stellar performance from Thielen the other night. 1 catch and a botched onside kick non recovery.

There isn't much left to restructure with Van Ginkel and O'Neill. But Hock, Allen, and Greenard are all in the $22 per range for the next two years so maybe there is some room to maneuve.

Yes to cutting Hargrave and cut Hockenson.

He benefitted from choosing in the top 1-5 positions a few times.
