Yep
Dallas is usually the cheapest team in the league imo.
They’ve checked that this playoff season
But it showed up late.
Tampa has plenty of guys willing to answer that bell if needed

Wow. Point scored a beautiful goal. 2-1. Those goals inside of 1 minute really hurt.

Tonight could be it for Dallas down 1-3, playing back to back for the Cup.
I don't remember ever having back to back games for the Cup, but these are strange Covid times.

Some very tired hockey players out there towards the end of the first OT.
Another great game tonight.

Congratz to Tampa Bay for winning Lord Stanley's cup, but something is wrong about a team in Tampa Bay Florida winning the hockey champioinship.

Great playoffs
Topped off nicely
Helluva team there in Tampa
But man, Dallas just never quit
All over them late
True pros, the Pavelski and Perry experiment worked nicely for them
BETTMANN! finally got to talk without being drowned out by boos.
For old times sake they should have pumped them in
Greatest tournament in sports, topped off by the best trophy
Would be nice to get one in Minnesota once before I die.

Yeah. Just like a Super Bowl

Elusive

I just looked it up...no Canadian team has won it since

1993!?!

Dang

That just seems wrong

Was nice to see Tampa finish off the series with a great game last night.
Sure would be nice to see the Wild play like that some time in the near future.

Another southern team with a Cup
While we in Minnesota just keep watchin and hopin

LOVE how Tampa played
WAVES of attack
Their 4th liners would be 1st or 2nd line guys elsewhere
They bought in and simply outworked AND out-talented everyone finally.
Roster shoulda won multiple Cups by now, but kudos to them for staying the course.
Hedman is the future of hockey
Biggest man on the planet but highly skilled and smart. he RAN the games from the back end.

A guy like Ty Johnson comes up years ago and tears it up
Most would think "go somewhere and be their star"
Nope, he stays in Tampa and is one hell of a role player
Thats the type of rosters who hoist Cups
Sacrifice
Its the name of the game in hockey and the reason its the greatest sport on the planet.
Guys like Maroon and McDonough, go there and fit in.
Those two were beasts last night. And every night.
When those types are your role players, you are GOOD.

It's actually a hell of a hockey town. Their owner is the real deal and give a crap ton to that city.

It's an amazing game. Guy literally throwing their faces in the way trying to block shots. Just incredible what they'll do to hoist that thing.

We have a niece who teaches graphic arts at the University of Tampa. When we visited her last March, she told us that the Lightning are THE sports franchise in town and it isn't even close. The population doesn't really follow the Bucs or the Rays with much enthusiasm.

Yeap. The Rays are a complete after thought and they can't figure out where to stick them moving forward. The Bucs have been such a loser nobody cares. It's a very transient town so it's tough to gain support. They LOVE the "ning" though and it's a lot to do with Vinik.
