Thank you, sir. Some coworkers and I were talking about this game, and we pretty much reached the same conclusion. Home ice might make a difference because of the matchup strategy, but everything else is up for grabs. I tell you what, though...I would trade the White Sox World Series win and one of the Hawks Stanley Cups wins for a Vikings Super Bowl victory, any day of the week! Hopefully we'll all have a great game to watch tonight.

I hate that.
He seems almost likable.
Then I remember who he pulls for.

Im soooo conflicted.

Whoa ... this never even dawned on me.

-@AnaheimDucks and 1979 @NYRangers only teams to play 14 games to start the playoffs without losing in regulation. No team has ever gone 15

That Saad goal was pretty! The second goal was a "right place, right time" kind of thing. Crawford looks a little shaky tonight, but has a clean sheet so far.

Hey, SoMn, do you think the Hawks play better when they are at home? It seems to me that they skate harder and move the puck out of the zone faster when they are at United Center.

The defense is much improved tonight, too. They have been driving me nuts for most of the postseason, but I can't complain about tonight.

Controversy.

The interference on Crawford was iffy, but the interference on andersen was pretty blatant. I think they both could've been called, but thats how it goes.

Despres is a pretty tough dude. He got creamed two times by pucks in the same shift and he's back on the ice. I'd still be crying in the locker room.

Shaw with the finisher. Wow. Desjardines with a competent assist. There is still 3 minutes to go, but it looks like this series is coming down to Saturday.

No big surprise that this series is going to game 7. Should be a damn good game Saturday.

Jeez. Two game 7's, one on Friday, one on Saturday. That's appointment television.

Oh yeah.
They play "consistently" better at home.
Can turn it up to that level on the road, and usually do ... but at home its pretty constant.

I just can't root for the Ducks, even with the Hawks knocking us off 3 years in-a-row.

The Ducks punishing style, Getzlaf and Perry are just not personalities or styles of play that grow on me, now Kessler too; .

The Hawks piss me off because they have our number, but they are fun to watch and their style of play doesn't aggravate me like the Ducks (Blues as well).

I want the Lightning to win it all. Not because I like them but I can never root for the Hawks, hate the Rangers and the Ducks.

I typically root for Original 6 teams, even though I'm not a fan of New York, Boston, or (ugh) Detroit. I think it's the tradition of those teams and the amount of years they've been around. It's a complicated balancing act between love of history and hatred of rival teams, but it works for me.

Most of those old teams have enjoyed plenty of wins in their history. I'm much more likely to always pick the underdog, the team that hasn't hoisted the trophy - and if the finals are between teams that have all been winners I typically go for the one that has won it the fewest times.
