Jeez, guys! Nothing is easy in this series. Every goal is a hard won battle, the middle of the ice is always contested, and most of the stars on both sides are being taken out of the equation. Great hockey.

Yeah, I guess hate is a bit of overkill. But, why does a team that is that good seem to get all the bounces too? The sporting world just doesn't seem fair sometimes.

Good thing there are re-runs of Scorpion and NCIS-LA on tonight that I missed watching Wild games earlier in the season.

Maybe I will check the score off and on, but I have seen all I care to see of the Horseshoes this season......

I will say ....
TB crawled into Detroit after blowing a home game five, and still won that series
And
They've actually played MUCH better on the road
So
They have that going for them which is ya know ... Nice
But
I need them to wn
Therefore
They will probably win tonight, take it home, and then lose there, just to torture me further.

The Chicago press and a lot of Hawks fans already have this game in the win column, but Hawks fans are notoriously hockey stupid. That's usually how losses happen.Towes and Co. are saying the right things and do not appear to be overconfident, though. I will never count the Hawks out of any game, but I also don't believe that a game is won until the clock is at zero and the score is in your favor. They will have to get good minutes from their top players and press the action in tampa's end of the ice. The lightning are a super team, so every Hawks player on the ice will have to pull their weight to win.

Seriously can't believe the Hawks thin D corps is still effective after this marathon of a playoff series.
They're pretty amazing.

Good first.
Ning not rolling over.

He's made some crazy stops, though. On an unrelated note, we are totally getting our asses kicked by a storm/tornado right now. Yikes!

That was the most sustained pressure the Hawks have created this series, but have nothing to show for it. Great game, so far!

Feels like it's jusssst about time for one of these weak fifty mile an hour Hawk D shots to miraculously bounce in off someone's ass bone.

Love how the Lightning use the five foot pass to leave the zone
Seriously.
Love that.

Stamps is busting his ass.
He and Parise should start a hard-luck team together.

Slam Duncan! Pretty funny! Keith has been a beast. He's logged a ton of minutes and he is just as strong as he was at the start of the series.

Rimshots all over the place, SoMn! Whew. The storm is over for now, but I have to clean up some water in the basement. It can wait for a little while.
