ORIGINAL: David Levine Jay Williams... Skilz, I love Jay Williams and all, but, umm, yeah... I'm dead serious. I really think he would have been kind of a poorman's Derrick Rose or rich man's Chauncey Billups. We'll never know I guess. Oh well. Duke blinders. The guy had a mediocre at best rookie season and didn't do anything particularly well. Shot horribly, didn't get to the line much, didn't get a lot of assists, steals or rebounds, turned it over too much. Poor defender. I'm not a big Derrick Rose fan, but as rookies Williams didn't even belong on the same court as Rose. He was a young PG and starting to get it late in that rookie year. I think he would have continued to build with his hard work and elite athleticism/strength. And he was a good shooter before the NBA. Would have been a regular all-star IMO. Again, we'll never know.
