One thing worse than both going to Duke would have been both going to Wisconsin.

That's my silver lining Lynn. Wisconsin was never a threat, but Izzo was in the running for a long time.

Solid win over Richmond last night. Didn't see it, but read we ended the game on 19-2 run. Good road win.

It'll be interesting to see how we stack up out in Maui. I think we're going to need about 40 points out of Hollins x2 to be competitive against good teams.

I think it was the last game of the year that won't be televised, happily.

Caught a bunch of the first half -- out of the gates hot, then, with foul trouble, slowly started giving it back.  Sounds like there was a turning point in the second half where things could have gone either way.  Kudos to the team for hanging in there and pulling off a nice road victory.  Pretty solid for a team with few big men learning a new system.

Maui should be fun.  Syracuse is a markedly more talented team; will be fun to see how (if?) we stack up.

'cuse today.  Big test.  I think we can make it interesting.

Win and we get national attention.

I like the effort. They seemed to be over matched with size in the front court and there seemed to be too many turnovers. (same old story, there) They played hard on the defensive side. Did I mention the effort?

Watched most of the game; thought they played great, all things considered.  If Mo Walker isn't on the bench, we may very well win that game.  'cuse had a huge physical (and talent) advantage that we negated with effective play.

Very impressed overall.  This is a well coached team, and they're fun to watch for the first time since the Haskins era.

Just take a guy like Eliason. He was a non-factor for 2 years under Tubby. Now he's dominating Syracuse at both ends of the floor.

Who did get better playing for Tubby here?

No one.

I mean, I still can't believe the transformation of Mo Walker in such a short timeframe.

Looks like one team adjusted at halftime and the other didn't.
