Normally I'd agree about playing your best players, but he was obviously gimping and not hitting any shots. To be fair he didn't have anyone else hitting besides Mathieu, King, and Walker. Rest of them sucked. Smith and Austin H. needed to step up with Andre hurting.
I agree that future is brighter than it's been in a long time.

Status: offline 		I agree that Dre had a really bad night. But, there aren't any other options. You're gonna have to ride with Dre and hope he hits some shots, because you turn to the bench and see Mav, McNeil, Malik and say "what difference does it make?"

Looks like Austin H. will get to play again in Williams Arena. If we can play hard and well, maybe making an NIT run will help get some momentum heading into next year.

BTW, I'm as big of a guy on showing sportsmanship as anyone and I'm a big supporter of Pitino. But I can't say I agree with him about his being pissed about the Wisconsin kid shooting a 3 at the end. They couldn't run out the clock, benchwarmers were in. Not a big deal, but you look a little bit out of control making a big deal out of it.

Status: offline 		Tried to watch for awhile and had to just give up.
Looked like Varsity vs JV
We were simply smaller and weaker.
Our FB team is finally starting to get physically imposing at most positions.
Our BB team has to start working on the same thing.
Four of our five guys at times out there looked like starving teen-agers.
Cannot compete at the best level unless you are physically able.

Not so much sloppy, as lackluster.

Dre Hollins, Austin Hollins didn't seem to show up for most of the game.

Did he get a lot of run tonight since it could have been his last game? Or most likely Pitino knew we could win this game with whoever playing, so he gave Mav one game to shine. I'm sure his role diminishes vs. better competition in Round 2.

Matthieu sat a lot. When he got hacked int he first half, he fell into the cameraman, defending himself, 2 knees in the back.

Gave up a lot of 3's in the final minutes. Not very good defense. but nothing new from this bunch. They defend the perimeter poorly.

Did so w/Tubby, do so w/Pitino.
