I was wondering...I always assumed Pete spent some time as a student at the U of Minnesota, because he's such a big Gophers fan. But then it occurred to me that he didn't?...Duke and Michigan, right?

Hard to win with 2 players---at least Hurt, Harris, Washington got some playing time for next year.

It really shouldn't be hard to win with 2 star players. That's all it takes for many teams throughout the history of basketball. In fact, that was the old joke about basketball. Find 2 stars and you can compete with anyone. Not sure what changed. Probably nothing; we're just the Gophers.
