Prior to his current gig, Georgia was the least successful team he coached.

Atlanta really wants Cremins back, but I doubt he leaves Charleston. And Radakovich has been adamant on keeping Hewitt. It might take a change at AD before we see Hewitt fired.

Not really. He was there for only 2 years, and in those 2 years they went 45-19 and had their first back-to-back 20-win seasons in school history. And then of course he parlayed that into the Kentucky job where he won a title with Pitino's team.

Not really what? Was he more succesful at Tulsa and Kentucky, or Georgia? Should be an easy answer.

How's your memory of how Georgians viewed the nepotism regarding Orlando jr.?

Why is this even an argument? Are you really saying Tubby was more succesful at Georgia than he was at Tulsa or Kentucky?

If that's your opinion, great. If the facts don't bother you, good for you.

Georgia under Tubby, a 4th place conference finish and a tie for 3rd. FIVE 1st place finishes in the SEC at Kentucky. Some of them weren't Pitino's teams either.

I'm not a huge Tubby fan, he has a title and that's that. He took over a 25+ win team, but he did still seal the deal. He dominated a strong basketball conference for several years, with his own players. He didn't ever do that at Georgia.

I'm trying to find a way for YOUR argument to make sense. No luck so far. Tubby took over a Georgia team that was 18-10 and 9-7 in conference. He lead them to 21-10 and 9-7 in conference. That's your argument?

Four years at Tulsa, conference championship twice, two sweet 16 appearances.

Just to be clear, if it is just your OPINION that Tubby was more successful at Georgia than he was at Kentucky or Tulsa, that's cool. But don't try to sell me some shit about 20 win seasons. Is that how you measure success? Do championships mean anything? Conference or National?

I don't want to argue about your opinions. I'd be happy to engage in a fact based discussion.

Embarrassing loss. This team cannot make winning basketball plays down the stretch. In the last 4 minutes of a game, they have possibly the lowest collective basketball IQ of any Gopher team I've ever seen.

I said he was extremely successful there. He was. 2 20-win seasons in a row, the only time in SCHOOL HISTORY for that program. And he loved his time there. Obviously he was most successful at Kentucky. I don't think anyone would argue that. And I didn't.

Not sure where you got that from.

A month ago this team was 16-4 and ranked in the top 15. Now they're 17-11 and on the bubble looking in. Better off without Nolen.

Pathetic and disappointing season continues.
Thanks a lot for crushing the spirits of my 80+ parents, Gophers.
Some ugly, ugly, ugly finishes and losses this year. They are piling up.
