The Islanders GM is a douche.

I had to work tonight but I kept checking the score.   Looks like another good game for the guys, and specifically Kangas.

Way to go Gophers!

Now with the win last night, will the Gophers break the spell of adding a tie to the weekend, or win both games?

I'm going to be bold and predict another tally in the W column.

Dominant win Fri nite, lousy effort Sat nite.
Could have made a huge statement, instead, came back to the pack a little.
League will be a dogfight from here out.
At least we are staying relatively healthy and improving as we go. (save for a setback here and there)

6000 miles from home and it still stings like a bitch to read that we lost to Michigan.  I would rather lose to satan and his minions.

Nice come-from-behind to at least end in a tie tonight.   I was flipping back and forth between the Wild and the Gopher game.   Lot 'o scoring between the two...

Better to scuffle now than later.
We are hanging in there thru a tough time.
These opponents are good every night.
Our kids are finding out that a #1 ranking means "come get me".

3 lower-body injuries last night ... hmmm.
What are ya teaching, Mr Berenson?
Matson out for the year, that sucks.
Barribal and Carman will be back.
Nice to see the lesser-knowns come thru.
Patrick White needs to get some stuff done for this team, good goal tonight.
Love Joey Miller, glad he got called on. Kid always gives all. Like his game.
Mr Kangas has to get back on his game.
Not even Christmas yet. Its a marathon. Stay healthy, boys.

Excellent night at the Mooch.
CC is a great team, we stifled them most of the night.
Kangas righted his ship a little.
Some contributions from some unexpected places. Hanson for sure.

The scary part is that they still aren't saying much, just  "not sure what it is yet" type of responses.  I hope my gut feeling is wrong.  Usually when it's something simple they come out with it

And have they ever even mentioned what type of symptoms he's having?

Thanks Jeff. I hadn't heard that. I hope it just turns out he's got some nasty inner ear infection or something.

On the news the other day they had a story about a woman who had progressively worse, chronic headaches, and in the X-Ray they discovered that she had part of a knife blade lodged in her skull. Seems that after a fight a number of years ago they never quite removed all of the knife that had stabbed her.

That's probably not Lucia's issue....

Did anyone Doug Woog on P.A's show this morning. It was pretty funny. The Wooger was a little colorful. It should be available on the KFAN webpage.

Seldom, but today his language had P.A. a little skittish.

Even more "animated" was the guy who does the play by play for the Sioux! He was talking major trash!

When I first tuned it in I thought it was the Sioux coach talking, and I was pondering whether what he was saying would get him fined or suspended from the league. But it was just the radio dude - so I guess his hope that the Sioux win by playing dirty is acceptable.

Lynn , we don't play any more aggressive than the gophers, teams have to learn not to let emotion get the best of them. Yes the Sioux do that at times as well

I look for an inspired effort tomorrow night bythe gophers, seems like a split if you ask me. Also it is to bad that we don't have the home&home series anymore. Go Sioux
