It seems impossible based on how mediocre, at best, this team is. Saying that, we play 'decent' against Sconny this upcoming weekend and we are still the only Champs this pathetic conference has ever known.

It is to the point that I didn't even care that the game wasn't on TV yesterday. After seeing what the score was, I am glad too.

It's really sad how bad the Big 10 treats hockey. Go to the Big 10 website. I tried to find a live boxscore of the game. Nothing. Gotta give the WCHA props. The WCHA website may look old-school, but they are on top of EVERY GAME as they are in progress. Live updates, live boxscore. Good stuff. Big 10 hockey is not cool.

It went 4-2 at that point and we scored to make it 4-3 with 50 seconds to go. They got hosed on another empty netter when the refs called offside when it wasn't. We scored with about 5 seconds to go to tie it up but they went to the replay because the net was knocked off about the exact same time the puck went in.

The review(s) showed that it was clearly a goal but there was no doubt they would look at it. Then they waived it off and everyone went WTF? Turns out, ironically, we were offside coming in to the zone for that goal.

I went to Gophersports.com and found out it was streaming on ESPN News so watched the 1st period. We gave them a goal with about 10 seconds left in the period with an errant pass in front of our net that was right on the Badgers stick.....needless to say I closed my browser after that. It has been one of those seasons.

Matter of fact, you could say "all they gotta do ..... is not lose by twenty ......" and I'd still be worried.

Once again, shocked how bad this wonderful B10 hockey league is.
The level of our play this season, should put us near the bottom of any decent conference.
And yet here we sit near the top.
