Found that interesting too.
Their faithfull will make sure to over-do their arrogance about it, tho .
We'll have those logos shoved down our throats all weekend. One way or another.

Would be hilarious if they kicked out any fans wearing the logo. Kind of preposterous, but this is the exception where preposterous would be fine with me.

It looks like the winner of the Gophs/NoDak game will most likely play UMD after they beat the beaners

GO WCHA

Still pisses me off big time that U of M and Wisconsin will leave the WCHA to simply provide money for the Big Ten TV Network.

Guess UND can play w/o the Sioux symbol on their jerseys. Gives the state more exposure with the name North Dakota on their Jerseys.....just wish it said University of North Dakota.

Gonna be a great game today.

UND's nickname should be changed into the Blizzard or the Fightin Norlanders or UND We Can Handle the Cold Weather.

Love the Bracketing.......can't have a WCHA final.....well, we could have had Denver stayed in but let's have MN and UND beat each other up before the frozen four and then have the winner between those two face off against UMD......go Bulldogs as well. To bad all three couldn't be in the Frozen Four.

Not looking good for the Sioux
That being said, at least I don't have to live in GF, which means...

I won't be bragging about living in such a cold place
I won't be bragging about the highest per capita level of drinking
I won't be stacking and sand bags

I have to admit I was afraid to watch the game because I feared the outcome. But I looked in periodically for a score check and am PLENTY happy with the outcome. It was our turn this time and we move on in the tournament.

That's terrific. Maybe we have licked the "Loserville" curse!

Better (and cleaner, more sportsmanlike) program won this one tonight. Total domination in the biggest stage imaginable. Way to go, MN Gophers.

It was the same team that showed up for 2 periods last time.  This time, we decided not to soil ourselves at the first sign of trouble.  Very nice win.

Now, another huge test.

There was one play that sums up why I hate No-Sack so badly.  Lame-rioux punches Boyd's helmet off along the boards and the game is stopped because the player "lost his head gear".     It only took about 5 punches to do it.  No wonder the refs "missed" that call.

My world is right again
Frozen four should always be in our plan
Thank you mike guentzel
Will not miss having to play hakstols and eades thugs anymore on a regular basis
That shift in the third by their little leprechaun on crack was an example of what is wrong with their program
Totally disrespectful to the game of hockey
Almost a dozen punches to the head, finally gets the gophers helmet off, and goes back to bench satisfied
Ref stood ten feet away and pretended not to notice, because he had just been intimidated by the sue bench
On to better things
Bc is loaded. Tough draw. They manhandled a tough umd squad

I noticed as I have before , the Sioux are midgets next to the Gophers.

As for Lamoureux, his old man, a backup goalie in the Darren Jensen/Jon Casey era is one of my favorites of all time.
Dude never got much pt but was money when he played.

Are you freaking kidding me? I mean, psychologically speaking, you have a point. Other than that, you cannot be serious. The Sioux have always been a large team, particularly on the D-line. What game are you watching?

Maybe it just FEELS like we're bigger, badder when we hammer your squad 4 of 6 games?

I'm sure you're right, I only get to see 1 or 2 games a year here on the West Coast. UND typically does have some size on the blue line, but it also always seems to have midgets at Center.

They just need bigger uniforms to hold their egos.

HATE this week off bullshirt.,
You don't stop the momentum teams had from last week.
Kills any hopes hockey has of getting extra viewers.
Squeeze it in around the BB games this weekend.

Lots of buzz around the X still.
The Program needs to be good in this town.
Several years of no serious playoff run, cannot happen with this program.
So good to see them back in.
