It'll be interesting to how the roster shakes out now. Budish says he'll be back but what about:

Bjug - no way
Haula - yes because he has no shot to make the big club for a couple years
Rau - yes because he's not the impact player we thought he would be
Schmidt - no because he's a hot commodity right now and undrafted.

my opinion only.

Pretty much what I see too.
It's not like anyone wrote themselves a ticket to stardom the last month.
Finish with a flurry, and win it all while contributing? You all would be wanted.
Have your weaknesses exposed? Uh-oh.
As usual, Budish is the only one being totally honest about his chances.

Every Sue line today vs Yale is playing like Serratores line.
Grinding, mucking, tight-checking ... Playoff hockey.
Smothering Yale with Superior talent. Hmmmmm.

ND basically doesn't even need a goalie.

WoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooT!
Sue goes down.
I knew pumpin em up would throw the world off its axis ....
This is actually a pretty cool Yale story ...
No scholarships
$57 Gs a year to play hockey
They are the smartest team I've seen this year, no doubt about that.
Congrats to them.

It's tough, but I guess it's possible to root St. Cloud. Barely.

Same
Pulled for em today because I had to ...
Good on them, tho.
DO love the fact they use a lot of Class A kids.
Some great stories on that team. A gritty bunch, most who were told they weren't good enough to play where they really wanted to play. Like the U and Grand Forks. Good on them.

I've heard that a hundred times since the game.
Hope it hurts.
The Lynx and the Gopher Women know how to stand on the big stage and compete.

A couple of smart-asses were bringing up Holy Cross ..... that was NOTHING like this .
This years Gopher team was built to WIN THE NATIONAL TITLE.
Everyone who went to the Frozen Four last year was back. Bigger better and stronger.
Not making it was a mental failure and breakdown. No other excuse. A choke.

The team that lost to HC wasn't going anywhere in the big picture.
This team should have.
Its one question mark was goalie and that got figured out.
Extremely disappointing.
Every team left is very beatable.

Exactly man. Think of the teams we whooped:

Denver
N0 Sack
ND
Boston
Miss State

We manhandled, at times, the elite of the elite but something just went missing. I still have no answer. We made it look easy at times. Still frustrated as hell.

Lucia says Gopher fans should blame him if they are frustrated.

Don't worry Don. We do.

The sun rose in the east today.
Probably will set in the west.
But we'll see.

Nate Schmidt signs two year entry level deal with Caps

THAT ONE will hurt

He's probably the one we could afford to lose least, imo.

I'm just waiting to see if Haula signs with the Wild this year.

Rats all leaving the ship.
Not unexpected I guess.
Haula seemed to understand his and the Wilds position ... but then I thought Buddha woudl stay, too.
Que sera
They know what they need more than I do I guess.

No, the Predators just signed him to a 2 year deal.

Like I said, I am curious to see what Haula does. I think I would rather see him develop in Houston next year than spend another year under Lucia.

Well, I was about 0 fer 5 on the pro calls
I was wrong also about those kids
I honestly thought gopher hockey meant more to them than it did or does.
Not happy with any of them
I understand, believe me, I understand. But it still pisses me off.
Exactly why we see more passion in our opponents most nights.
I don't like being a fan of the spoiled brats.
We need a thought process change in how we recruit.
