It's pretty hot out. Could it have something to do with that?

Did they show any video of him on the ground? If they did, I missed it while typing. Did you guys see anything?

I'm here at the game. This is horrible. You can hear a pin drop. Let's hope it's not a seizure that's a sign of bigger neurological problems.

He was rolling around, kind of convulsing.

Kill told me he takes medication daily; that seizures have been an issue since defeating kidney cancer. This isn't his first seizure.

He completely collapsed. Then started flailing and thrashing. Is it heat stroke-related?

History of seizures. Most likely culprit.

Wonder if heat/dehydration triggered it. Honestly, the way he collapsed, watching it live I thought he was dead. So scary. Praise God for good health -- so easy to take for granted.

Darren Wolfson said Kill told him that medication he is on since beating cancer has given him seizures in past

He is alive and well in stable condition.

Yeah. I posted that a few posts up.

Very scary, but at least it isn't unprecedented.

Saw a brief shot of him thrashing around. They cut out quickly.

Had to be horrible, Pete.
I was like you ... sure he hd passed, the way the kids reacted.
But thinking about it, everyone who hadn't seen it before was shocked, those who had (his staff and wife) were very calm and even moving ahead in the game.
Tough for NM State too, almost glad the game ended like it did, would have hated to see them stand there and then get it taken away.
They came in (much like the USDs and NDSUs before them) .... and kicked our ass on our home field. Inexcusable.
We got pushed aorund by a team that had been pushed around last week. Disappointing.
Hoping for the best for Coach Kill, a good man.  Gotta wonder if doing what he does is the best thing for him and those around him. Comes a time you will have to choose.
This program  .... ahh, I better not say it. Its just sad. Beautiful atmosphere today, and we just can't get things straightened out. Sad.

While Gophers players looked shocked and concerned to see their coach go down on the sidelines, Kill's coaching staff remained calm.
Defensive coordinator Tracy Claeys said previous experience with Kill's seizures made Saturday's episode easier to handle.
"It looks worse than what it is, for the most part," Claeys said. "He's never missed a game. We just told our kids don't panic with it. We'll keep them up to date."

here's a dumb question .... why do we have several players with the same number?
I thought that was highly illegal.
I realize you have huge rosters in football, but having guys like Shortell and Stoudemire wearing the same, seems strange to me.

I've always been a fan of the decimal point on jerseys. When u dress 225 guys for a home game, you still never run out of numbers.

In our tiny little world, we KNOW Shortell and Stoudemire will both be on the field, probably a lot .. is all I'm saying.
I realize you are infinitely smarter than me, just never noticed that they are fine with doubling up on guys that play a lot.

Amazing that Stoudernire set the all-time Big Ten mark in career kick-return yards today.
(until you realize we do get kicked to ... a lot)

Have a friend for twenty+ years that suffered from seizures. The first time you witness it, it scares the shit outta' you. I must have seen him have 15 of them. Had one on the green on the 4th at Westchester Hills. We took his putter and spread out, gave him room. When the seizure was over, he was thirsty. We let the foursome behind us play through and we continued on. My friend shot a 89.

Yeah. Its not actually a great record to have.

Highest average per return, most TDs, etc. Those are the good ones.
