Yes, I can see where that would crush the inner child of a true narcisist.

I'm hearing more about the Basement Brew era. There has been some steam that he got inflated ratings for his recruiting classes because he has friends in a couple of the prep scouting services that rank the recruits and the classes.

I was also listenning to Justin Conzemius this morning. He talked to the D-line coach during spring practices. He was told that the coach couldn't believe some of these lineman had actually been coached for the last couple of years. He finally told them that they had to forget everything they had been told prior to this year.

Regardless of the show it was still Justin Conzemius who is generally pretty spot on with his observations. The presence of the microphone farter doesn't change that.

You'll have to be more specific when discussing the Power Trip show.

That said -- specifically w/r/t the lines -- there is no evidence any of those guys are football players. At all.

Well Mike Morris was the Vikings long snapper for years and Conzemius played for the Gophers.

My bad. And you are right. The O line failed to knock NM off the line despite a decided size and strength advantage. The D line brought no pressure. As I said, Claeys said he couldn't believe some of these guys had 4 received 4 years of college coaching during spring practice.

IMO yes. This looks like a decent team (Miami)
I'd be surprised if we won. Sad to say.
Lots of familiarity, amongst the coaching staffs, so it'll be interesting at least.
Getting the nagging feeling I fell too early for the Kill Routine. Prove me wrong, Jerry.
As Dave says .. lets just focus on steady imrovement.

My Korean son in law saw that headline and told me that the Vikings head coach killed himself!

I thought I read that Miami has a new coach this year(?).

Either way there's no reason that it shouldn't be, at minimum, a competitive game.

You're probably right ... I was just talking about the fact that these guys beat our coaches last year in their conf title game, when our coaches were at N Illinois

Miami goes up 3-0 after a 75-yd drive.
We cannot stop anyone at this point.
66 yd pass on the third play from scrimmage.

Gray to Moulton for 59 yds sets up the tie-ing field goal. 3-3

D holds, and we get the ball back at our 22

I was happy to hear we'd be focusing on on our punting, and improving it.
