BTW - that throw by Leidner to KJ was money man.  If he could harness that we'd be pretty damn good.

I don't like 100% over the LOS rule

Only thing that wasn't was the back leg and shoulder.

Agree, it should be 100% behind the LOS.

Game over. SO ends a very promising Gophers football season. He should have been tackled several times.

Ye have little faith.

Bobby Calhoun is a serious playmaker.

Not Bobby Calhoun.

His last name is Boddy-Calhoun. First name Briean.

Huge win. Way to face and overcome the adversity of the blocked FG. Would've been easy to hang our heads after that.

Saw some blatant holds on our WR's that weren't called. I really questioned calling TO's right before the half, almost came back to bite us. D played quite well for the most part, love our ability to take the ball away. Boddy-Calhoun had a big game, should've had a pick too though that might've been a pick 6. O ran well, passed just enough. The bomb to Maye was great.

Hope Cobb is well enough to be effective next week. His replacements did well, but we want him to help bring the Axe home.

Nice job by Kill and the coaches to pick on Nebraska's weakness on the edge.

HUGE game next week! I'm giddy....

The Gophers playing an extremely meaningful football game on the last game of the schedule...and meaningful in addition to just being a rival game.

It's going to take me a while to process this.

Props to the Gophers. If my Huskers are going to lose I want it to be by my 2nd favorite team. I become more convinced every week that Kill gets his team to play above it's talent level. I know some have asked what Kill has ever accomplished, but I think he might be one of the top 2-3 coaches in the league easy. He builds his programs year by year. I am convinced that he is the real deal.

Now if we can just find a way to beat those Badgers!

Was in a hockey rink again all day ... and the biggest reactions were around the TVs
People in this state are so damn hungry for a college FB team to be proud of.
We ERUPTED on that final first down that iced things.
Fun stuff.
We almost feel relevant.

Loved the way they battled through the adversity with losing Cobb and the blocked field goal. I fully expected the Gophers to win this one and have no idea what was behind Nebraska being an 11.5 point favorite.

Wisconsin will be a dog fight for the Gophers if they want their OSU rematch. And as the one and only Crusher said "It ain't the dog that's in the fight, it's the fight that's in the dog".

MadTown will be rockin
And probably too big a task to ask of this squad, who has probably already over-achieved.
Proud of them tho.

I've given Limegrover a lot of shit on this board but he's done a pretty fantastic job, at times.  His use of Williams as a decoy may seem maddening but it's pretty damn brilliant.  We really have 1.5 WR options.  Not to knock the position but it's true.  Every team keys on him and Lime gets about 5 plays a game where that decoy sets up big plays.

The coaching staff seems to be as advertised .... very very good.
Seems like when Claeys is given some time to gameplan for a weapon ... he gets it shut down.
Big task next week. The ultimate test.

Another thing. The Gophers are in strong position to get the Gator Bowl with just a good showing at Wisconsin. Think about that. A bowl that actually existed when I was a kid. Back when bowl season was much better and all about rivalries. New Year's Day used to be so awesome.

Or the one the Gophers played in the last 2 years. The same bowl game with a different name in year 2.

He fell into him and didn't even knock the QB down and that is a Roughing the Passer penalty. OMG.

That was horrible.
