Helmet to helmet hit--yeah, that should be a penalty, but what about that hit on Shady Saloman by the Wisky defender? He took the logo off Shady's helmet--how is THAT not a helmet to helmet call too?

WHY just run the clock out there? That was a Glen Mason-esque move there. Plus, it's not like you're getting the ball first in the second half, either. I didn't really like that decision.

17 seconds at midfield? Yes you need to try something there. Maybe he's gunshy since Northwestern.

On the helmet to helmet - - - it's not that I think it wasn't indeed helmet to helmet, but if you look at how the play developed, our guy was tackling Jefferson at mid body.   It was only because Jefferson started falling down that the helmets met up.   It's not like he was intentionally aiming his helmet at Jefferson's helmet.

THAT's why you don't pack it in and go for halftime. This game is far from over.

One angle it appeared his shoulder pad had more contact with the helmet

Same ol' Gophers--playing not to lose. This is going to come back to bite them. This is so frustrating.

Here we go, stop playing offense and hold on.

The only thing we're missing is the Mason squinting-up-at-the-clock face "I have no clue what's going on here but I hope that clock starts running faster."
