Kill seems to get high end recruits like Jones and Edwards and promptly buries them on the bench where they do no good. I suspect future high end recruits are taking notice, making it even harder for this program to progress. It is looking like another season of hoping to become eligible for a low-end bowl just to get the red-shirts more practice.....yippee.

Second tier recruits might take notice too, that Kill will play who he thinks will play the best regardless of recruiting reputation.

Good lord. What was 55 doing on that play. Instead of blocking anyone he got in the RB's way.

Then we give up the big punt return and a TD.

Kill, I'm not impressed.

If you don't have a qb you got nothing.

Strib article right before the season "Jerry Kill does it again" ~~ meaning he built another great program

Yeap, he's done it again. We are not relevant in CFB once again. Good Job Jerr. I've seen enough of this shit. How they can keep trotting ML out there says all I need to hear.

This team doesn't make a bowl game this year without a major change (that I can't even begin to suggest).

Northwestern is already better at our game than we are.

Very ugly loss today. I was very disappointed by the effort.
Will we see another win this season?

Northwestern was very good today. Gophers didn't even have a chance
this afternoon.

You guys are such negative nellies. They only beat us by 9 FG's or 4 TD's (however you want to look at it).

Fun fact (if you a suicidal maniac). ML had more TO's than the whole team had points

I think Northwestern is pretty darn good this year. They deserve some credit.

The Gophers offense had three players who are now pros this year if you count the wr on the practice squad with the Vikings. I think that covered up some of the inadequacies at the qb position.

They are "mediocre" in the grand scheme of things. They are minnows on the CFB landscape and they shut down this pathetic offense. It's not like Limegrover is new. This is about his 50th season as an OC.

They rolled with ML this year and are paying the price. They need to answer for it and non of this bullshit "whoa is me" stuff. They knew he sucked. Make no mistake, he sucked last year too and it was clear as day. Don't let Cobb/Williams cloud that. It's more a testament to what THOSE guys did. Williams should be up for an Academy/Emmy/NHL player of the year/NBA All-Star MVP and Pulitzer prize for actually being able to catch those......"passes".

ML is making Viking Josh Freeman look like Maddox in his prime.

The offense went in to "no passes past 5 yards" after the half. That's how bad he is/was. And, he was no more accurate at the 5 yard stuff. Glen Freaking Mason (who, yet to this day, is a Gopher homer) saw the %'s of the 2 QB's and said "NW QB is 80%, that's pretty dang good. ML is 54%, it's what he is. A 50% passer". And, he tried to make it sound like it was a compliment. 54% for a guy that isn't allowed to throw it over 5 yards. WOW.

Same red face.
Same stupidity.
Never been more embarassed to be a fan.
It wasn't Northwestern being awesome. It was us sucking.
