That's why you punt. Hope they say our guy was inbounds.

I don't really understand the point of having Morgan on the field as a WR when Green plays QB.

Fumble by Morgan. He has been brutal. As bad as I've ever seen a Gophers QB. How do you fumble there?!??

Holy
You ARE a true believer fi you think we'll win this one.
We might as well be playing Michigan, imo.
We'll use every excuse in the book on this one, after they ride us out of town.

Score indicates they're playing a Michigan type team

Coach P.J. Fleck announced today that defensive coordinator Robb Smith has been relieved of his duties.
Fleck named defensive line coach Joe Rossi interim defensive coordinator and he will lead the defense for the rest of the season.

As low as I can ever remember being
Is this what the plan was?
I keep forgetting
Because I'm watching other programs rebuild at light speed, while we sit here getting beat by doormats 700-14.
Get a real adult in here, please. This isn't even pathetic anymore. This is an insult to the term .. pathetic.
We had DBs chasing guys on Saturday that I KNOW were running at 1/2 speed.
Its one thing to be out horsed. Its another when you lay down like a dog.

The def coordinator should have been fired as soon as the second plus 65 yard td was scored. Three in the first half is worse than the Nebraska drubbing in the 80s. I just remember them crushing us but not three long plays off the bat.

Agree. Getting overrun by bigger/faster/more talented athletes is one thing. Getting overrun by teams that you are supposed to be better at, athletically, is really sad.

We are getting cut apart out there by the likes of Maryland and Illinois....ect.

I think statements that he has lost the room and that the future is bright are equally inaccurate. Rebuilds are going to run into problems. Part of the process of evaluating Fleck is how he addresses the problems. Firing the DC is a good first step. Next he has to show that he can find the right coach to get the most out of the players.

This rebuild is a train wreck. They are young, sure, but also terrible. One of the worst teams in the country. Indiana should be embarrassed they lost to the U.

Any chance there is a wink-nod-handshake deal that all of these lower-tier B1G schools like Illinois, Indiana and Minnesota rotate in a loss against each other just to make sure nobody goes winless? Or more likely a deal between the B1G and the B1G officiating crews.

I find myself in the rare position of disagreeing with everything you just said. I see a lot of positive things happening within the losses. The question remains whether Fleck can fix the things that are really bad. And there is no doubt the defense is really really really really bad. The team has reached the experience point where some of these defensive replacements should be showing at least some improvement and they clearly aren't.

I can find no positives in these losses. None. And in this season, either. Another lost year.

Carry on U. Continue the futile tradition you have now placed 2 of your biggest cash cows in.

Despite finding enough suckers to build a super modern facility.

And most of the success? Women's programs. WFT is going on, on the men's side!?!?

Love seeing the womens successes
A B10 soccer title is pretty sweet
The VB team is really really good

No one wants this Gopher FB team to be better than me. No one.
It's damn frustrating to see us get further away.
Other programs rebuild, without complete and utter embarrassment being a part of it.
Aggravating as hell. if he gets it turned around, good on him and I was wrong.
And I will certainly give him a year or two with HIS GUYS. Would have thought the coaching staff would have been who he wanted, tho. Apparently not.

Will the administration keep him 2 more years when they're embarrassed by suck-ass teams?

And what if the big pocket Alumni get restless seeing ol' SKI U MAH getting laughed out of every venue?

Let's spend less time on fancy helmet designs and figure out how to tackle someone for starters.
