I truly feel horrible for Decker, Pete.
He deserves much, much better.

WHY -- WHY -- WHY are Brewster/Fisch still running the ball? I'm looking for signs of intelligent life on the Minnesota sideline, and I'm unable to find many right now.

Is Brewster the only person on this planet that sees some potential in Weber? The kid is brutal. You landed your big QB stud recruit, now play him!!

At this point, what do they have to lose trying the kid?

You have to think his phyisical skills would out-perform Weber's productivity (lack of) even if he's not completely up on the playbook yet!

Weber decides who he's going to throw the ball to before the snap. He has no in-play recognition.

Exactly Pete ...
In fact, I'v enever understood this ...
Once you reach the point int he season where Minnesota is at, with a bad record, a bad karma, a bad rep all going, why, oh why, do you not look at every play and game as your opportunity to change things?
I mean, once you get to this point, your seasonn is over for all intents and purposes, unless you go fo broke and pull out big wins.
We keep playing (and always have here at the U) like we are shooting for 4th in the Big Ten or 5th, or whatever the hell we are shooting for.
Anyone else feel that? Am I wrong?
My point is, its sudden-death in many ways once you get to this point in the year. FGs do no good. Moral victories do no good.
Pull out the stops. Give your weapons the freedom to make plays.
Whats the negative if you do and fail?

WORST. CALL. EVER.

Why on earth do you run a pitch on 4th and goal inside the 1? Unbelievable...

Brewster better be gone after this year. He has no clue about any aspect of college football other than selling his shtick to high school kids.

And then ... you give up the first down ... only the Gophers would do that. I swear.
Its simply the most frustrating team in America at times, and has been, for a long time.

When you're getting gashed that badly on every single 3rd down, do you think you'd try to make an adjustment at some point? Apparently not for the geniuses over on the Minnesota sideline.

Thats has been the most exasperating thing ... its constantly 3rd and long for PSU, and they convert EVERY time.
Not most times, EVERY time.
As was said, TRY SOMETHING.

Apparently pass interference is now called when a receiver trips over his own feet.

Refs aren't helping.....but....

How many 3rd and longs are we gonna let Penn State convert? It's no wonder the time of possession difference in unreal. We get them to 3rd down every time, but can't finish. And it doesn't matter that Penn State keeps backing themselves up with offensive penalties....the Gophers can't take advantage.

Predict the postgame Tim Brewster quote. Mine?

"We played a tough, tough football team today. We played with tremendous heart, but unfortunately, we just shot ourselves in the foot too many times. We'll get back to practice on Monday and work to making ourselves a championship-caliber football team. I'm still confident that this football team is going in the right direction and tremendously excited about its future."
