I take back what I said earlier in the year. This O-line sucks.

Nice pick and return to give us a golden opportunity and the offense only goes backwards. No throws. What chickenshit play calling.

Granted I didn't watch all the game but what little I could stomach I must have saw the same play at least 10 times. Shotgun and the handoff to Ibriham off tackle right. Over and over and it never really worked. One time the qb kept it and had a ton of running room and it got us into the red zone.

The Gophers free fall comes down to this...Fleck did a lousy job replenishing his lines.

Not only the lines....Morgan is fine when you can throw to Bateman, Johnson, and Autumn Bell....

Gave up that TD pathetically easy.

Equally pathetic first offensive series.

The Greek comes in and leads us to 3 straight scores. No reason for Morgan to take another snap this year.

Agree. If he doesn’t get hurt there is no way we win that.

Fleck keeps pushing Morgan's leadership. I'm not sure how much leadership it takes to turn around and shove the ball into Ibrahim's gut 35 times a game.

It was amazing how the first plays of the second half changed the whole dynamic. Kaliakmanis pulled the ball back from Mo and ran for 12 yards. Then he completed a pass downfield. Suddenly the box was a little less stacked. People in the box were now accounting for Athen to run. Mo racks up a C note plus in the second half.

This should be Kaliakmanis' offense the rest of the way. I'm sure PJ will stick with Morgan out of butt blind loyalty.

You need an explosive QB if no explosive WR. This change should have been made against Purdue

I made my second bet of the year on the Gophers covering the spread yesterday. Gophers are making me money.

Looks like the Gophers are going to get ground down by Iowa again. The putrid Iowa offense just pushed us right down the field. Fleck went gutless on 4th and inches.

Oh yeah...Kirk Ferentz is still a dick.

Once again, the Gophers find a way to piss it away against Iowa.

He makes boneheaded live decisions and is way too conservative for my take but we just flat out blew that one. The 2 late TO’s doomed us and the missed FG were not on Fleck.

No reason we loose that game if guys just do their jobs. I have more angst on the coordinators. Each one shit the bed at times 😡

Now, if your position is that he wastes TO’s, is chicken shit at times, and allows his coordinators to go wicked conservative, yup……agree

Settling for FGs is what cost us the game, because you can't be positive even short ones will be made in that cold weather. Also, a TD is worth 6, 7 or 8...a FG 3.

Agree 100%. I was not all that impressed with the great Iowa defense. Ibrahim gashed them for massive yards despite the Gophers being the most predictable offense on the planet. With any imagination at all, the Gophers should have been able to put up 24 against them.

PJ playing chicken shit cost them too. 4th and inches, he punts and Iowa drives down for a td anyway. 4th and 1 he calls for the fg and misses. Predictable and chicken shit is not a good combination.

PJ was playing Zimmer ball....plain and simple.

He wasn't agressive enough with the wind and when you play a tight game you can't have turnovers, missed FG, or penalties. They had all 3.

He put himself up against it.

Zimmer's offense was avant-garde compared to what Fleck has trotted out the last 2 years. My concern is that Kaliakmanis is going to ponder the idea of handing the ball off 50 times a game with the occasional slant pass mixed in for the next 3 years. Then he is going to decide that entering the portal is his best option.

This accountant is strong with numbers. Unlike CPAman.
