Before last week Kaliakmanis showed potential to be better than Morgan. But this was the first game where he unequivocally passed Morgan in the present tense. He IS a better QB than Morgan. Nothing against Morgan, he is what he is and he made the most of his opportunity, seizing the job, seemingly ages ago from more highly regarded competition. But he peaked out a while ago, Fleck did the right thing by moving on, though I was somewhat surprised he did. Morgan has been a real trooper. But PJ is all about evolving and getting better. I expect Morgan will quickly go into coaching once his fantasy of continuing to play football dies, which will happen immediately or very soon. And I bet he’ll be a good coach.
