Badgers lose LB Borland (shoulder) for season.
Tough break.

Head coach in waiting? Interesting if true.......
http://www2.kusports.com/news/2010/sep/22/report-mangino-hired-minnesota/

I'd rather have a guy like Mike Leach but at this point, just knowing Brewster's not around anymore would be outstanding!

Sounds like Troy Stoudemire has quit the team (per his facebook page) after getting suspended by Brewster....

Supposedly a false alarm on Stoudemire?
(according to Strib)

More likely a change of heart when someone informed him that he'd be sitting out the rest of this year and all of next year to play his Senior season.  Advise to Troy:  It's probably not a good idea to post on Facebook when you're pissed at the coach.

As much as I want Gray to play QB, he's turning into a hell of a WR.

Like NFL quality.

Careful.  You're starting to sound like Brewster!  We need about 3 or 4 more M. Gray's.

So will the Gophers contract with that same coach screening service to pick their new coach that they used when they hired Brewster?

I take it back. Weber was throwing to McKnight. Gray almost screwed it up.

Wow the horseshoe didn't even fall out of Webber's ass on that throw.

I'm not sure McKnight was the intended target. Gray was wide open while McKnight was double covered. It was either a lucky throw or a stupid decision that worked out.

I think the latter. From the replay behind Weber, it looked like he was throwing to McKnight.

If both WRs ran their routes properly, it wasn't a well designed play.

How many times are they going to be fooled on that same f***ing play?!A straight hand off up the middle is suddenly so avant-garde that the Gophers can't adjust to it.

The thing that's keeping us in the game is their QB keeps running and he just can't run on us.

Is there a Big 10 team that we'll be favored to beat?
