ORIGINAL: John Childress No way does he go backwards to OC after being HMFIC. He has browns written all over him... I don't think so. Cleveland is a bottom feeder franchise. The real Browns are in Baltimore. I can't see any high profile coach even considering Cleveland or Detroit. Neither team has a QB, is a great place to live, or is a glamour franchise. Teams like that can forget about Parcels, Holmgren, Cowher, Shanahan, etc. The Jets would be a plumb job but not if the owner insists on bring Favre back. I doubt very many coaches want to deal with him next year and then retiring the following year. I see Shanahan taking a year off and waiting for a big time franchise to come calling. I am suddenly getting a feeling of Shanahan coaching the Jaguars in 2010. Del Rio will coach one more year there...suck up the joint...be fired and ol Mike will take over. But that is just a feeling I am getting. You don't think Mike Tice has a serious shot?? sarcasm. Remember how a few of his defenders here said Mike Tice will be back head coaching in the NFL? Three years later and still doesn't land a head coaching job. Thanks Zygi for canning his arse when you did. Oh, I think Tice will still get another chance. Depends on how many coaches get canned in the next couple of years. There will be some owner that will take a chance...Heck...nobody seems to want the Detroit job...and the Raiders job could come available soon too... Desperate owners might jump to get Tice.
