I'm thinking we have a chance to catch the Packers with their pants down.

Swarming , opportunistic, defense. coupled with many Packer miscue and turnovers.

Monster night by AD

A couple non offense TD's ( pic 6 and Harvin takes a KO 100 yards.

Ponder plays a mistake free game

33-31 Vikings

Just think - we're so lucky on this Viking board that pretty soon we get to read the bragging of a Packer fan as he sums up the game! Always classy.

He should be able to post that every day as sorry as the Vikings are.

Pretty pathetic Lynn to come in here ragging on Craig when the Vikings look like a bad high school team

Classy

Craig is always here, win or lose.

But you are right, he is always classy.

I dont get it.. other than the punt return for a TD, this game went exactly as i would expect.

Rogers and McCarthy disected our defense like an exercise in Football 101.

What completely baffed me was the number of time thatGB had players running free to the QB.

And Peterson flat out sucks at blocking.
period.

Don't bag on Lynn for her opinion.  She is entitled.  And realistically, we don't need a recap from Craig....we all saw the debacle.

Hi guys.

No recap this week. I honestly thought AP was going to have a much better game and that Ponder would have had more success as well. The Packers finally had a pass rush and that certainly made a difference. Once again I was impressed with the Vikes DL and Allen was his usual beastly self.

We are allowed to disagree with Lynn, right? Especially when she dumps on another board member?

I hate the Packers, but Craig is a good guy. Been here for over 4 years, nearing 1000 posts. He's here win or lose every week praising the good of his team and calling out the bad.

And he keeps it in the "Packers" thread. He's never rubbing it in in the Vikings or Game Day threads.

We have guys who aren't Vikings fans in the game day thread piling on and we're worried about Craig's recap. Sad.

I didn't "dump" on Craig. Asking someone to not pile on is now considered "dumping?" Sometimes when you're given all kinds of riches without even lifting a finger to get it, it's kind of courteous to not walk down to the street corner and wave your hundred dollar bills in the face of people wondering where they're going to get their next meal.

Figuratively speaking of course.

So I can't once or twice express anger when fans from another team pile on? Heck - I'm one of the best sports on this board. I hardly ever jump all over my teams when they play poorly. I don't call players names. I don't use pejorative names like "pukers" or "skankees."

So sure, once in a while I ask someone to not kick us when we're down and that makes me a poor sport? Boy, tough crowd.

Well, he has posted those summaries after every game - I think it was a safe assumption he would do it again. I believe my objection made him change his mind and I thanked him for it.

And I thought the objection was out of line and Craig was being overly considerate in response.

And its not like this was the first time. You got on Craig last month as well about his posting.

It does come off as sour grapes. Craig follows the (current) best team in the NFL, keeps his posts in the Packers thread and never rubs our face in it. Most of us could learn something form him.

In all honesty, if the Packers were in a down period and the Vikings were atop the division, and Craig was just posting recaps after every game, would you still have a problem with it? I doubt it.
