1.  If you don't want people discussing the Green Bay Packers on a Minnesota Vikings board, remove the Packers thread.  It's that simple.  What in the world do you expect to happen?

And if you are surprised to be called on an insult to the Vikings on a Viking board, you need to sit down and think a little bit.  It's that simple.  What in the world do you expect to happen?

What's the over/under for picks by those two qb's next week?  7?  8?

Gonna be an UGLY game.  I actually think the Giants have a chance only because they should be able to get to Favre at will.

Doesn't matter though.  Whoever wins will get demolished by the Pats by at least 30 points.

Are you posting that in anticipation of Favre next week?

Your predictions have not been altogether prescient lately... :)

Actually, not bad.  3-1 last week and 3-1 this week.

the time of possession in this game wasn't even close; dallas led most of the team stats.  what a complete chokejob.  love seeing romo go down...maybe he should have dumped jessica when he had the chance.  cowboys have now lost six playoff games in a row.  #1 seeds are 17-0 since 1990 -- that streak ended today.

whatever happens next sunday, the Packers have had a tremendous season.  the giants are a lot more 'classy' a team than the cowboys, and i would much rather lose to NY.  course, I think the Packers have a damn good chance of burying them

Last time it was Packers v Giants in a championship game was 30 Dec 1962 at Yankee Stadium.  Packers won 16-7.  That game was a rematch of the previous championship, 31 Dec 1961.  Packers won that game 37-0

Is it true that Packer fans moon the opposing team's bus?

Nice gift by the Giants to give the Pack another home game.  The Pack whipped the Giants earlier this season, but I don't expect that result again.  I still think the Pack will win, but it will be a closer game.

Jessica had nothing to do with this.

Romo is a choker, plain and simple.  He had several opportunities to win this game and couldn't get a pass within 10 yards of Owens when he smoked the Giants secondary.  Then the last series he didn't even try to go to the best WR on the field.

Stupid

And that will mean absolutely nothing.  No player on the previous game is still playing.  No coach is still involved.  These are completely different teams.

Packers have a distinct advantage in this game.  They have only lost ONE game in Lambeau in the playoffs.  That was to the VIKINGS.  Giants got their work cut out for them.

Didn't they lose to Atlanta at Lambeau in the playoffs too?

But I agree that the home field advantage will be big for this game.

Oh, Yeah.  Forgot about that one.

Oh, Yeah.  Forgot about that one.

That one ranks up there in the top three worst playoff games in my lifetime.  The other two are, of course, the loss to MN and the 4th-and-26 debacle in Philadelphia.  We could have made the Super Bowl that year.

Well, get ready for your beatdown in the SuperBowl.  It'll be over by the end of the 1st quarter.  Pats by 30 minimum.

We need to get past the Giants first.  They are a better team than the one we faced in Jersey in week 2.  But then again, so are we.
