KC even did this in the off-season.

Shields/Erv are giving them chances to win.

Sure they're barely over .500

but thats a heck of a lot better than the Twins.

At least their ownership TRIES things. The Twins TRY via the DUMPSTER.

Tigs expecting bad news and acted accordingly, getting Iglesias.

They get it. Got a problem? Take care of it.

And Boston? They swing and miss sometimes, too, but they TRY.

Prospects are nice, and they have several elsewhere that didn't work in Boston. But they traded them while they had value.

The Twins? They have a new logo for the All-Star game.

They get in the news for trying to robot-ize one of the game's best prospects.

Idiots.

This
Is all I'm saying
It's like we simply dont get what ownership means
It's like the Pohlads don't understand things can be done. Plans can be made. Moves can happen.
We simply sit and watch the ship go down.

And then it's NOBODIES FAULT

Except some rinky-dink coaches who have minimal impact.

Shuffle the deck chairs.

HOPE for a turn around.

We like the guys who used to win for us. THey can again...we hope.

And if not? BLAME SOMEONE/SOMETHING ELSE!

It's always amazed me
I love this MLB thread, because stuff happens
I wake up every day this time of year looking onward to seeing what relevant teams are doing to get better
And we are soooooo programmed here ... We just don't expect to ever be a part of the fun.
Why?
Why?
Why?

Supposedly most of the players have already agreed to 50 game suspension . I think we'll see Texas pick up a bat today also to replace Cruz

rumor has it they are thinking about trading Elvis Andrus.

Straight up?

No, I don't think Texas would do it, nor do I think the Twins would pick up Andrus contract.  Just wondering what folks around here would think about that trade...

I'm hearing Jamey Carroll may be moved.
Typical low-level shuffling that makes sense, I guess.
Allow a good guy to chase a playoff dream.
It ain't happenin here.

I'd trade him for Andrus' contract. In a heart beat.

Andrus (ONLY 24) >>>>>>>>>>>>>>> than anything in this org, outside of Rosario

Wow!  That is earth-shattering news.  And what would the Twins receive in return for Carroll?  A last round draft choice?
