Padres outfielder Tommy Pham is recovering and in "good condition" after being stabbed during an altercation Sunday night in San Diego.

Both Pham and the Padres confirmed the news to the San Diego Union-Tribune. Citing two people who talked to the veteran big leaguer, the newspaper reported Monday that Pham left an establishment, saw two people whom he didn't know arguing near his car and eventually asked them to move.

Pham then was stabbed. No major organs were hit, and he needed stitches to sew up the wound.

The Padres said Pham, 32, is in "good condition" and expected to make a full recovery. The San Diego Police Department is investigating the incident.

The Braves have had wayyyyyyyyyy too much Mt Dew
These guys are like some kind of hybrid right now
Everyone’s either throwing 100 or crushing balls to the moon.

I know we've talked about this before, and I want to be sensitive about it, but …
A lot of the successful teams right now, resemble Latin Dance Clubs on a lit Saturday night.
Its a new world.
Get in on it, or get left behind.
Emotional baseball. Gonna cause some earthquakes, but its happening.

Clayton Kershaw has been scratched with back spasms, the Dodgers say. Tony Gonsolin will start Game 2.

Postseasons aren't always kind to Kershaw.

Great games
Asterisks are a tough tough lineup, even without the advantages
Every game hangs in the balance right to the end
Great baseball being played

They're lamenting not coming through in clutch situations, LIKE THEY DID BEFORE
Its so weird, its almost like THEY DON"T KNOW WHAT PITCH IS COMING
That little bit of doubt, is it a fastball, is it off-speed, wow, its almost like they have to rely on their own instincts, LIKE EVERYONE ELSE

TB full of guys who aren't well known, but they can play the game. In every facet.
