Yup, I greatly overrated them

Next up - the Saints

I think they are the only other team in the NFC that can beat Seattle unless SF gets all their convicts in line in time for the playoffs

Not sure why you have the Saints so high up on the list.

I think a team like Sea would crush them cuz defensively the Saints are nowhere near SB caliber. They just out score weaker teams.

Indy has a bad defense and made a huge mistake trading away a #1 pick for Richardson.

Had he bolstered their rushing attack but this Richardson is looking like Maurice Clarrett.

Saints defense last year was 4th in yards (2nd in passing yards) and 4th in points.

Really!

I had no idea they were that good on defense. I thought they were much, much worse on that side of the ball.

My bad, that does make them an SB contender.

They replaced Steve Spagnuolo with Rob Ryan and in one year went from 31st in points and 32nd in yards to 4th in both.

But they were mediocre the year before and Top 5ish in 2010.

How in the hell did this man clear waivers??? If our 7th rounder played like this in the pre-season we would be anointing him the next Chris Doleman (as many teams/fans would)!

Seriously, I understand the rams being so deep at the position, but how in the hell does he clear waivers?

How does one pressure in every 8.5 pass rushes against TC fodder OL compare?

Good question, but from all accounts and eye tests, the cat can play and play well. Looks a hell of a lot better than a lot of the fodder and trash half the teams in the league have on their benches and squads.

I wasn't a huge fan of his because I think his "story" was ridiculously politicized and overplayed, and the tv show idea was absurd but from what I see, hear, and the stats, he belongs on a depth chart.

Harvin did it all in front of the frenzied CenturyLink Field crowd, catching seven passes for 59 yards, rushing for 41 yards on four carries and running back three kickoffs for 60 yards. If you're counting, that is 160 yards on 14 touches.

STUD

If those pedestrian stats = STUD then what does catching three passes for twenty-six yards and rushing three times for one-hundred-two yards and a TD plus running back two kicks for forty-eight yards make you? A God? If you're counting that is one-hundred-seventy-eight yards on eight touches. ON THE ROAD.

The full Ray Rice video.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wsd8LtTTnAI

Kind of leaves no doubt as to what a scumbag he is.

She was in his face - a tiny bit - and got a haymacker for her troubles.

Disturbing that he only got two games for that.

Ummm, why all the shock this morning?
We saw them get in the elevator in the previous release, we saw him walk out. And him dragging her limp body out.
No one thought he did what he did?
Absolutely inexcusable and disgusting, from the start. Shouldn't have taken this re-release for all the angst to surface.

Txt'ing with team officials around NFL, they predict Ravens will cut Ray Rice. "Have to." Not sure anyone would pick him up.

The Baltimore Ravens terminated running back Ray Rice's contract on Monday, hours after TMZ released a video showing him punching his then-fiancée in the face in an Atlantic City hotel elevator in February.

@MasterStrib I get that the video is disgusting, but 20 domestic violence arrests in NFL since 2010. Issue is much bigger than Ray Rice.

Amazing. I guess people don't really believe it unless they see it?

And NOW that hypocritical bastard (Goodell) suspends him?

I guess Roger Goodell also needs a visual aid before he can make judgment.

More like, he was hoping they could prevent the release of the video.

Exactly.

It's sad that Ray Rice gets a 2 game suspension for punching his wife, then only gets cut because of bad PR. The problem's still the problem

Uh, hypocritical pretty much means does something and tells everyone else they are wrong to do it.

Does Goodell beat his wife?

Sure he's a bastard.

Hypocrite as in after discovering that a player hit and knocked his girlfriend unconscious, he levies a 2 game suspension.
After the release of the actual video to the public, he changes that to an indefinite suspension.

I think hypocritical applies.

Never wish for injury, but I felt Clowney and Gilbert were both going to be epic busts

Clowney has always been hurt, and his play just nevre matches his numbers.

Not good to be having knee issues.

Gilbert not playing much for the Browns.

You guys are acting like that's a bad thing.

A lot of people can be screwed over based on what you interpret based on bits and pieces.

Goodell needs to resign

Same feeling on Clowney

I don't like guys who don't like to work hard - especially on the line.

He really doesn't seem like he likes football

Exactly. And, let's play the other side just to show how big of a liar he is. Lets say he "didn't" see this video. He saw the video of her getting dragged out of the elevator. Any decent human being would demand to see the footage from inside. He didn't ask for it? TMZ had no problem getting it. And, if his defense for that is that he didn't know there was footage inside:

1. he's lying again (which is the case. nobody is THAT stupid).
2. he's the worlds biggest idiot.
