1 - post in the right thread.

2 - one rainbow pass to a wide open guy is not electric.

3 - In no way is there a debate at this time

Wow Manziel looks electric today

Score one for Jeff Allen in the Johnny vs Teddy debate?

What does that make it, 43-1?

Plus he missed a wide open receiver in the EZ...and was bailed out on a horrible throw by his receiver on his knees.

If Teddy and Ponder should never be mentioned in the same breath...

I think Ponder was better than Manziel

Mariota starts his career by going 6-9 for 130 and 2TDs so far in the first quarter

Manziel doesn't belong in the NFL

He has ZERO pocket presence

In his predraft breakdowns, Arif pointed out tons of instances where Johnny ran from phantom pressure, as well as not feeling actual pressure.

Only the second QB in NFL history to throw four TDs in his first game. The other? Sir Francis.

The ONLY QB to throw two TDs in the first quarter of his first game.

Pretty good start...

But please remember it was against the Bucs...

Coughlin blew that game - wow

All the powerhouse teams look down this year

Dallas was beyond dumb to let Murray go

And Eli should have known just to take the sack....Clock keeps running. Just keep the clock running.

Tony Romo is one of the most underrated QBs out there. He'll make some dumb throws but the boy can ball.

Shit I would have run another running play on fourth down and ran as much time off the clock. Don't give them that much time.

Cowboys are really going to struggle now without Murray AND Bryant. Jason Witten might be a good pickup for fantasy leagues...

I have family in Dallas and they don't want to hear it but those current RBs are just average

Murray was special

Philly is thankful

They were stuck wrt to Murray. They either had to pay him or Bryant. They chose Bryant.

Murray was a tough call. Bryant has the talent and the history to say he's pretty damn good.

Murray had one year of being all that and he carried it a lot. He was bound to come back to earth.

It may have been the wrong choice...but I can see the logic in it.

Was just checking some fantasy football considerations and saw this...Is this the story of his life?

Percy Harvin's role in the Buffalo offense is unclear, and due to the fact he is also coming back from a hip injury, he may struggle to make an impact Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts.

Percy started great. Now I hope he can keep it up. I would love a Vikings/Bills Super Bowl.

Just caught up on the fiasco that was the Dallas win. I hope they give one back they should've won sometime this year b/c they had no business winning that one. A horrible pass interference call that gave them a TD instead of a FG. Some of the worst end of the game clock management/mistakes you'll ever see. Unaware of how many TO's Dallas had...ideas of 'not scoring'...throwing on 3rd down. Also marshmallow soft prevent D.

Sickening.

I agree kgmcpmignorer.

If that's struggling to make an impact...

I wonder how other QBs would fare behind that offensive line?

That might not be as poorly received coming from a QB that hasn't sucked balls.

I get his point.

It's like first grade math students criticizing Stephen Hawking.

But as a QB or player in the NFL...rule number one should always be, DON'T INSULT THE FANS.

I get the point too - but it's not nearly that extreme of a distinction.

It's entirely possible for fans of football to be very well versed in the game, know the plays, know how you defend against a pass versus a run, understand the role of the nose tackle and the strong safety, get the reason you might go no huddle in certain circumstances and why you might call time out in others.

In other words - I would say that most avid football fans are closer to college students talking to pro players. No doubt that until you've played at a pro level you will never understand the complete intricacies of the game, but we the fans are hardly at a kindergarten level.
